Am I missing something or has no one commented on British diver Tom Daley's disastrous semi-final diving round? I was heart broken when his didn't make the final round. The day before he broke the Olympic record for points in in a round of men's platform diving (I think that's right). It was such an Olympic sized treat to watch this cutie standing on the platform in his skimpy speedos showing off that beautiful, smooth, tan, lean physique. I check out his Youtube videos, from time to time, and he seems to be a genuinely nice person. He came out of the closet a few years ago and is engaged to a man who is an Academy Award winning American screen writer. I know a lot of good people experience disappointment at the Olympics, however I was really rooting for this young man, a celebrity in England, who had the courage to come out and live his life as a gay man openly in front of the world....and besides...he's so cute!

Yes we're all surprised over here in GB that he didn't make the final cut. But he has vowed to keep diving and return at Tokyo. He has age on his side I guess.

 

But we're very happy to have these two guys to watch too and their golds will be an inspiration for a new generation as Daley was before them.

Great Britain has so many sexy divers right now, but that "photo" of Jack Laugher above is so obviously Photoshopped it's difficult to know how much of that is him. Is there an un-retouched photo that actually shows his entire backside like that?

I'm not saying that I don't believe his ass looks that good. I'm just saying that this is one of those photos that looks half photo, half painting. Everything is too smoothed out -- even the basin.

A friend commented that he's been too busy being a "gay celebrity" to focus on what he needs to do. He seems overrated while guys like Max Whitlock and Jack Laugher have been actually winning golds without half the attention he's getting.
