There are many things that can tell others about our personalities, such as, our favorite breakfast cereal, favorite color, preferred lubricant, etc. I also believe the program listing, in order of priority, on our Tivo's and digital video recorders (which so many cable companies are providing now) do tell a great deal about our inner child.

So, what is your listing in record priority order?

I will show you mine so now show yours. ;)

Star Trek Enterprise

The Real World Philadelphia

Reno 911!

Jack And Bobby

The Brini Maxwell Show

Justice League Unlimited

Smallville

Dead Like Me

Absolutely Fabulous

Little Brittan

Will And Grace

In The Life

The Screen Savers

Star Trek The Next Generation

C-Span British House of Commons

I do not have tivo either and just got digital cable (thinking about getting the dvr recorder box from the cable company) but what I do not miss is (in no particular order)

South Park

Justice League Unlimited

Desperate Housewives

Guilding Light

Law and Order

Law and Order SVU

Sex and the City (even though they are edited some are still fine)

Now if only TVLand would rerun Mary Tyler Moore, Maude and Rhoda then life would be complete.

I bought a Toshiba DVD/TIVO player about 5 months ago and STILL have not been able to get the DVDplayer or the TIVO to work. In fact, the DVD part won't work till the TIVO part is setup and I cannot get it setup. Anyone want to buy it? It's worthless to me :(

It says that I have no life, but I can laugh about it! :-)

The Nanny--Fran Drescher! Lucy of the '90s.

Passions--silly soap with HOT guys!

Golden Girls--comfort TV

Family Guy--LOVE STEWIE!

Desperate Housewives--just some mindless fun

Bewitched--seasons 3,4&5 (can't wait for the movie!)

Who Was That Masked Man?

>The masks. Definitely the masks.

I thought Justice League was a Cartoon Channel TV show? But then again, I never watch it.

I do not own a TIVO or a DVR. Things I attempt to make a point never to miss or tape are these four programs:

The Daily Show

The Dead Zone (one of the best written shows on basic cable)

Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis (I like science fiction with realistic potential; I also think they did an excellent job in the first five/six years incorporating the Egyptian and other cultural and archeological myths, histories and facts with the science fiction elements)

I do not tape but often try to watch:

Kim Possible

The West Wing

Celebrity Poker Showdown

ESPN College Game Day (during football season)

Smallville (again, once it got past the green krypto wierdness of the week of the first year, it turned into a very good show with interesting on-going storylines)

Things I watch more often than not include:

Lilo & Stich

David Letterman

Real World/Road Rules Challenge or Real World Philadelphia

Newlyweds

Monk

Will & Grace (more often the earlier reruns)

Simpsons (more often the earlier reruns)

CNN (portions of Lou Dobbs, Anderson Cooper and News Night)

Jeopardy (well before Ken Jennings)

Food Network (primarily Good Eats, but nearly all the shows once in a while, except for Iron Chef and Emril)

I also watch a lot of movies. I have probably seen large chunks of The Matrix on TNT a good 75 or more times. But I also watch movies on IFC, TCM, USA and whatever happens to be of interest. I also watch CSPAN, Charlie Rose, Frontline, the History Channel and sometimes even catch a few minutes of Ellen on Oxygen.

RE: Who Was That Masked Man?

>>Kim Possible

>What/who is Kim Possible? It sounds sassy!

Kim Possible is an animated series on the Disney Channel. Here is a pic of her:

http://www.popmatters.com/tv/reviews/k/images/kim-possible.jpg

She is a very innocent, but kinda kick-ass comic heroin, but without any super powers. You can read all about her here:

http://www.popmatters.com/tv/reviews/k/kim-possible.shtml

But, of course, this hasn't prevented guys from creating their very own little Kimmy.... as the following pics I found on the net suggest:

Oddly enough, I like Justice League Unlimited for purely non-sexual reasons. I've always loved superheros but rarely feel any sexual attraction to them whatsoever. Batman's my fave - his lack of superpowers, intellgence, and dark/serious/tragic nature just appeal to me.

Now anime (many of the series I listed), that's another story. I find quite a few anime characters very sexy indeed. (And I suppose you could consider many of those superheroes...just of a different sort). Such cute, cute bois. hehe =o)

Animation is my favorite form of art bar none. Some of the things they can do with it are incredible (dare I say to me, more incredible than film in some ways).

My god, I'm in love! When are you comming to LA again??

:9

Personally, I don't watch much live TV, but buy way too many DVDs... own B5 and SG-1, also own Family Guy, and a whole lot more. The Prisoner, a bunch of Anime, some Hong Kong stuff, etc...

No Tivo but my shows of choice are:

Desperate Housewives

Survivor

Drawn Together(the glory hole episode was truly offensive)

The Daily Show

Real Time with Bill Maher

SVU

Conan O'Brien

On DVD: I gotta give it up to Kathy Griffin's new disc "Allegedly." I was never a fan until very recently. But, her tales of The VH1 Fashion Awards, The View and USO Tour are super funny. She is truly the Queen of Negative Energy.

"You wanna hear what Greta Van Sustren told me?...Oh shit, I shouldn't have said that. She and the Scientology Posse will have me killed!"

And(one of Skrubbers' new favorites) Ralphie May's "Just Correct"--very funny shit!
