Where I live the first cutting of hay has been in full swing for about 2 weeks now. Lov watching the young summer college guys working shirtless in the fields. Wish I had pictures to share but I don't Maybe someone else in the forum world has some to share.

When I was a kid, I used to go visit relatives in the country about this time every year, right in the middle of haying season. My cousins, of course, had to help with the haying, but since I was company I didn't have to, but we would spend the entire day, every day, baling hay. The baler was a huge monstrosity of a machine that was pulled by the tractor. As the bales came out of the baler, my cousins grabbed them with hay hooks and stacked them on a wagon that was also pulled by the tractor, behind the baler. The baler had this huge metal sleeve, driven by a reciprocating arm, with teeth on the bottom, that moved up and down to pack the hay as it was being baled. I used to titillate myself with horrible thoughts of what would happen if you got caught underneath that metal sleeve with the teeth on the edge. It was never a pretty picture.

There are college boys who work baling hay? I need to see that.

 

there are around here. there is also a good number who work for landscape contractors or lawn services. the one that takes care of my lawn has on young guy who shows up in gym shorts that he is very obviously freeballing in. lov it

I think it's Lucas, who appeared in many, many of Corbin Fisher's scenes early on. I don't know the last time he worked with them. Given how much Dawson appeared on CF as well, I'd be surprised if they did NOT appear together at some point.
