The first escort that I hired many eons ago did a thing with clients where he did a BDSM scene with a guy wearing only a tee shirt and a jockstrap. He supplied both and would rip off the shirt in the process, he would then present you with the jockstrap at the end of the session as a souvenir. I still have it. So funny - I don't care for them at all. I have strong mental associations and I think of a jock strap as being worn when a dude gets sweaty so even seeing one on in a porn scene makes me go limp because I automatically imagine that it stinks. Ok, I'm a little psychotic.

I was never into sports. So the only time I wore one was when I was younger for use in a bathing suit or two that didn't have the interior netting. Maybe I'm not remembering correctly. I never found them particularly comfortable But do some have a strip that goes up your butt crack like a thong?

Not something I'd calculated with regard to myself lately, but ... yikes ... time flies when you're not wearing a jockstrap!

And For My Own Trip Down Escort Memory Lane ... I remember telling a guy that I loved a particular picture of him in a jockstrap (makes me wish I had that picture right now) and, although I didn't specifically request it, he wore that strap when we saw each other. We were undressing and I saw it, realized that he'd worn it because I'd mentioned it, and I looked up (yeah, tearing my eyes off the bulging pouch) and he grinned at me and said, "Had to wear it."

(I'm pretty sure that--and gang showering after class--have been discussed here before.) We started having to wear jocks and gym uniforms in 8th grade and that continued through high school. Ahhh, the memories ... the stink of wet shirts and sweaty jocks being peeled off ... the splattering sound of water from a couple of dozen showerheads in the tiled shower room ...

Yeah! I can still envision a couple of guys from the tiled gang shower room in high school... You always tried to cop a peek and not make it look overly obvious. Of course one guy knew that he was hot and used to flex his muscles while showering. In retrospect I have wondered if he was simply showing off or was looking for attention. And yeah! There was a unique stench to the locker room most likely from those smelly stinky jockstraps. :eek: As I recall you threw them out at the end of the school year!

We had to change into PE clothes-white shirts and blue short pants. There was some kind of design in the middle of the front of the shirt where maybe our name went written in indelible ink. I think later on a plain white t-shirt was ok. The blue shorts had the initial of our 1st name and our full last name embroidered on them.

 

But my recollection is that the majority of us wore regular underwear beneath the shorts-most of us tighty-whiteys-maybe a few with boxers. I'm not sure why jocks are needed for sports-unless it's because they would hold a cup in place where normal underwear wouldn't. But we didn't play contact sports in our PE classes except maybe one 9 week period of basketball (and maybe soccer in the springtime). It's possible a few guys wore jocks. But I think I'd remember even now at the age of 55 whether I ever wore a jock routinely during 3-1/2 years of PE class. I'm sure the guys in competitive sports wore jocks. Oh and our locker room still had that smell of unwashed clothes and sneakers combined with the wet mildewy shower scent.

My freshman year of college I took a semester of swimming/diving. We had the option to wear our gym shorts, a jock, swim suits, or nothing at all. For some reason a couple of guys decided to go au natural for the whole semester. I recall one guy diving off the high board with his legs spread apart. OUCH!#!!%! when he hit the water! :eek: I can still see his eyes popping out of the sockets!

In my public high school swim class, we had no option. It was au natural for all of us the whole semester.

Do you mind if I ask when this was? I can't even imagine ever being made to work out naked during school in the 1970's. But I know my Uncle who is almost 90 talks about swimming nude routinely at the YMCA when he was growing up except on Family Nights.

Easy to calculate--sophomore year of high school (last year of mandatory Phys Ed) was how long ago? :)
