Is there anything in your life that you always wanted to do, but never had the chance?

Every since I was a child I always wanted to go to Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. I know, maybe a little juvenile for some. So I was trying to figure out a place for a little get away during the Thanksgiving weekend and bingo it hit me. Why not? I always wanted too. So at the age of 48 and with the help of Marriott points to take the shock off the Hotel bill, I should find myself doing something I always wanted to do this Thanksgiving, See the Big Parade. My Mother will be non too happy I will not be at the Dinner Table but hey it is What I always wanted to do.

So What have you wanted to do but haven't had the chance yet?

Ky, nice thread, nice thoughts.

I always stay at the Marriott. When you check in, threat yourself by calling Philip over at Campus for a real truely thanks-giving.:p

In fact, the one thing that I had always wanted to do was at, your age, to have male sex which I had never had even at prep school, a male college, and the army -- not even a mutual jerkoff.

So, four years ago, with The Gaiety across the street, I made an appointment with Milo. He was fabulous for me. He's the first guy I ever kissed. His tongue went half way down my throat. I'll never forget it. Then, after showering, he came out into the room and I just stood there, not know what to do next. He understood. What did he do? He dropped his towel from around his thin Brazilian-Japaneses waist, his huge fat plump uncut cock bounced out and around, when he then flopped down on the bed, spread eagle, naked. That was that. Nature took over and with that primal gutteral sound we can't help make when it happens, I instantly starting sucking my first cock. Something I had always wanted to do. With Milo's cock in my mouth, soft, it was a mouthful, I was at last a whole person. I quietly had peace of mind in my life. I was real. Something I still cherish this minute. I always call Philip when I'm in town. Enjoy.:p

I have always had a desire to go to Rio for Carnival!

A few years ago I had the pleasure of being in New York for Thanksgiving and of course that included viewing the parade. Had a grand time and allowed all of my childlike glee and awe to manifest itself. I hope you get as much pleasure from the event as I did.

Also hope that the BF will be joining you in "The Big Apple"

Sadly, I'll be solo for the trip. He is getting settled back in Europe.

I had the same desire 4 years ago so I just hopped on a bus went to NYC.

In terms of not being at the family Thanksgiving dinner table, do what I did. Call your family at the table while you're at the parade. Let them join you in the experience. It worked for me. It would be even cooler if your family has the parade on while you're talking to them.

Enjoy. :)

I, too, have had a thing for Rio. So, this year I decided, "What the Hell", and I booked tickets to Rio for X-mas and New Year's. I will be staying with a couple of close friends of mine, one of which is currently living in Rio for a year. So, the only thing I have to do now is just wait for X-mas to finally get here. Heck, it's just about as bad as waiting for Santa Claus to finally arrive when I was a kid! :-)

KY: One of my childhood dreams since seeing the movie Big was to dance to the piano at FAO Shwartz. I did that many years ago.

Another dream was to stand on top of the Eiffle town with someone that I liked and kiss as the city of Paris was behind us. I did that two weeks ago.

Dream now: I want to go on an Safari. I am a bit of a hotel queen and haven't booked the safari yet but am working toward that for 2005.

Sexual dream: I always wanted a date with Brad Hunt, the boysnextdoor Falcon porn star. I have never been able to get him but he has been on the top of my list since seeing his video many years ago.

Excuse my intrusion on your post, but going on an African Safari, has always been my biggest fantasy! I would be willing to wager that you remember the Frank Buck "Bring 'Em Back Alive" serial reels that played on Saturday morning TV during the 50's???

I'm sure I could take just about anything, including getting eaten by lions, getting squeezed by python snakes, getting snapped up as a snack by crocs, or squished by stampeding elephants, as long as no one drops a BIG, HAIRY SPIDER on me!! :7

I also fulfilled that same dream almost exactly one year ago. It was after dark and the lights of Paris were all around us. Sweet memory for me.

You should definitely go the night before to see the balloons being filled...That is actually great...you see the balloons up close. I think they do it by the Museum of Natural History. I know there will be a comment about that.

I already did the parade, paris, rio, rick and hooville gathering.

Did russia, italy, austria, france, brazil, mexico, canada, japan, korea, china, indonesia.

I think NOW i want to be a STAR FUCKER. Yeah that is what I always wanted to do...It would make me so complete.

Oh ps...hi everyone...see you in another 8 months.

Big spiders? LOL. You will have spiders but most safaris are pretty upscale. You couldn't ask for a better vacation. From spectacular scenery to excellet food to seeing animals that may disappear in the near future, you can't go wrong. And roughing it is not really a choice. I assume there are some but they are hard to find.

I would suggest you go to Botswana instead of Kenya as there is far more game and not near as developed as Kenya. This is coming from an ex travel agent. Usually you have to fly through South Africa which in itself is an absolutely beatiful country and not a bad stopover (although I would not spend much time in Johannesburg where you will probably have to land).

But then again you could go to Cape Town, go to Durban and make your way north to Kreuger National Park and on the way stay at Sabi Sabi game reserve. It is not a real safari but not a bad alternative. I met Linda Ronstadt there (although I hate to admit it...). Whatever it will the trip of a lifetime.

Rick you have to ask me? She was dating Jerry Brown then (nothing like showing your age). And you know by now I am a good Republican. And she was kicked out of Reno and I don't like her music. Anything more you want to ask? One more thing, she let EVERYONE know who she was. Even the tour director (no she was not on my bus) got disgusted as were the other people at my table. Also I was the only American.

Sabi Sabi YES. An absolute paridise in the middle of Southern Africa. Linda NO.

Who's that?? Murphy's brother? :p

Personally, I never let a performer's politics (or a sex partner's politics, for that matter) interfere with my ability to enjoy their talent (even the Osmonds, who don't think Derek and I should have the right to get married; I couldn't part with my Donny & Marie dolls/CD's, after all). I loved Linda's Mexican albums and her trio with Dolly and Emmylou; I had no idea about her political leanings until very recently.
