Just when I had thought I've seen/heard It all In this Business....Someone comes along and Surprises me.

 

 

Lately I have had a String of Strange Emails/ Flakes/ Oddballs etc. So much so I have started "Screening" Clients before making Plans with them In any way possible. Mostly to make sure they arent Flakes or Douchebags(By checking the Blacklistedjohn Page etc etc etc) A few months Ago I had met someone whom Prior to meeting I never "Researched" a client before. Long story short I was Trolled...HARD.

 

Flash Forward to recently where I have a (Potential) Client, whom I have already made plans with. I've been so busy lately I havent really had the time to "Research" anymore but found some time for this Guy.

 

He is an Author/Doctor who Specializes In turning Gay men Straight. Basically a Psychologist who has many quotes(I wont be Specific as to keep his Privacy) but pretty much the gist is "Being Gay is not only a Sin, But Psychologically not Normal"

 

Guys...He has over TWENTY Books on why being Gay is "Wrong". Some of his Quotes seem Hateful/Angry towards gay men. He's even been to Anti Gay Rallys and is well known In the Political world.

 

Confused...and not Wanting any potential Drama. I'll have to pass on this one.

To be clear I keep all of my Clients(And Potential) Information Discrete. As someone who Isnt even willing to share their Link here due to being Discrete, I totally Understand why most clients prefer Privacy.

 

What scared me the most is this guy gleefully goes to Anti-Gay rallies and Heckles them. I'm not sure if he LEGIT just wanted to get together, Or wanted to make my life hell. But my Gut tells me Its not worth It.

So many of them, it's sad but the demise of a hypocrite must be celebrated by all of us (out, semi out or not out at all) who mind our own business.

I'm torn between thinking he is a closet case who secretly wants to have sex with another man and thinking he was trying to mess with you or, worse yet, trying to get himself a client.

Just stay away from this situation. Don't respond, don't comment, don't make dates with him. There are so many of us who need and honestly seek your time and attention that you can, I hope, ignore the hypocrites who say they hate us, but just can't resist us. Stay safe.

Jock, there is nothing in it for you to have anything to do with this guy. He might be a sad closet case, but his public anti gay actions preclude him from your sympathy. He may have some nefarious motive in wanting to hire you, so that's another reason for cutting all communications with him.

My father was super religious, a leader in the church, very vocally and hatefully anti-gay and was a child beater/molester. Sometimes, they just hate what they see in themselves but project it onto others. Sick.
