This afternoon, while waiting for a flight, I spied a hunky pair lounging in the waiting area of the gate adjacent to mine. My eye was drawn first to one but, a moment or so later, I was startled to realize this this hunk's just-as-hunky companion was a gent I had encountered a year or so ago. Bulkier, beardier, seemingly more mature -- but unmistakably the same guy. I didn't try to catch his eye, nor would I presume that he would recognize me. (And, no, I didn't stalk or ogle in any conspicuous way.)

Watching the two of them made for a peculiar but savory moment: sitting in that terrible airport lounge but enjoying the memory of our encounter and pleased that he seemed to be happy and well.

I've taken a bit of a break from this peculiar hobby but, I must say, this moment made me glad for my experiences with it.

Am I the only one who initially read the title as "Hiring a former spy in an airport?"

And just when all the DHS agents have left..

You've been looking at the screen too long, mamacita. Woof

I don't know why but reading this made my eyes tear up a bit. Hearing about you reminiscing about moments with that particular hire and remembering the good times you had with him and being happy that he's seems to be happy in his life and in a happy relationship. wow, I don't know why I'm so emotional tonight:(

I read all of your posts and think very highly of you. You are fair, honest and supportive. I love that you sometimes feel emotional. It is all part of you being a sweet, loving escort. Men need emotional content in their lives and too often we fight or reject it. Life is short; it's OK to give in and indulge yourself once in a while.

AWW thanks glenn, I'm a really affectionate person which is odd since I never had emotional support or love as a child from neither parent or sibling. A lot of people that I meet say theres an innocence I still have maybe thats part of me not having a childhood. Sure escorting is about supporting oneself but its also a plus that I get to meet so many people of difference colors, sizes, ages and since I don't date or won't have a boyfriend because I escort, every client I meet in my mind is my boyfriend for that period of time :p

Well, you have emotional support and love here! May it sustain you, 'til you find private, permanent happiness!

Aww, RVW, you just made me grin ear to ear. Thank you. I thought it was just me that loved Scottish Folds. My cat, Gato, is a solid white Scottish Fold. He was dropped off as a kitty at the shelter when the owners got worried he had a disease after his ears showed folding signs. Their loss, my gain. He is so loving, gets along great with the pups, he loves the yard and spends hours watching hook & bait - the fish. The only thing that worries me is that he is really attached to me, and I travel too much for his taste. He usually lets me know it when I get home.

Ok, back to thread. I've run into quite a few former hires at airports b/c I do my fair share of business travel. I keep my distance if they are accompanied, but most of the time they are sweet & come up to say hi. One of my fondest memories was running into a guy who I adored & has retired. I saw him at the MIA airport with his beau. They were headed to Buenos Aires - so was I. The only seat @ the gate was next to them  I gave them a sheepish smile & nod. The minute he saw me, he exclaimed "omg!" gave me a big hug & introduced me to his BF. We chatted for a good 30 minutes, and we were able to move seats so we could chat more on the flight. The subject of how we knew each other never came up, and frankly it never mattered. We were old acquaintances reconnecting. it was nice to see how his life was shaping up the way he wanted it. :)
