I know a lot of people who are in the closet and would rather not use their health insurance to get tested for Hiv and other gay issues.

Which of this (or other) websites would you recommend for folks who want to use PrEP?

I've used Alldaychemist for years. Never had a problem. I've never heard of the other one.

Ha. I'll try that next time I get it confiscated in Customs. See if that helps.

Contacts are different that isn't a controlled substance.

If you don't mind me asking...which exact products have you bought and used from them.

They seem to have several options from different makers in India.

Also, what's with all the "jelly" formulations?....is that a popular way to compound medications in other parts of the world?

I'm slightly confused. You are buying both generic Prep and Cialis (or their equivalents) without a prescription from this site? It supplies a 30-day supply at a time and it mails it to you?

You can buy as much as you want. Usually best to get a year supply because the shipping is a bit expensive.

Heres another option if your iffy about shipping something from india. One of my regulars gets his generic cialis/viagra at an adult store in NYC. He told me it works just as well. I think its like 40 bucks for 10 pills or something. So try your adult store in your town/city and ask for herbal viagra/cialis.

Do not do herbal formulas. You don't know what exactly is in it since it's not controlled by any authority. Sometimes they'll secretly put in viagra and not tell you. Meanwhile your taking a bunch of other useless and possibly dangerous crap.

But this is done based upon prescriptions that are supplied, not just open requests. I know that sounds silly but I thought perhaps requests are just sent.

You sign up with them offering your medical history. Basically your healthy enough. No prescription necessary though.

Viagra, and Cialis, I'm 76 and they DO work... ;)

I don't know about the other subject of "jelly" formulations, could you please elaborate?

I love the jelly formulations myself. On the rare occasions that I use Cialis the jellies make it easy to take a reduced dose, and they're extremely fast acting. Moreover if a client needs a little extra help the fact that they're fast acting is rather useful.

I'm all about getting good deals for the medication you want/need, even when that means using online pharmacies based in Canada or Mexico. PrEP, however, is an exception - to me, at least. Taking PrEP requires that you get regularly tested for HIV to make sure you're still negative and also requires monitoring of kidney and liver function - there's a possibility of side effects that may require brief breaks from taking the medication, or may mean the medication is contraindicated. I think it's a bad idea to fuck with that - it seems very unwise to me to be taking a medication to prevent infection with HIV without knowing that you are indeed negative and to risk possible damage to your kidneys or liver from ongoing, unmonitored use.

There is a world of difference between ordering medication online where you know it has an active ingredient (take Viagra, get an erection) versus one where you can only hope that it contains the proper amount of the active ingredients. Unless you have a way to analyze the pills at home to be sure what they contain, why would anyone want to risk ordering PrEP online?

Gilead offers a Rx copay rebate program - I get my PreP at no cost, with the exception of the necessary doctor's visit for testing every 2-three months.

Check the website (and some PreP studies (eg. DISCOVER) also offer complimentary Rx and associated costs) -- if anyone is near the Detroit metro area and would like details, let me know.

When you go to the site, a reading about Tavin makes it sound as if the drug is one that is used when you are treating HIV (is that PEP?) rather than as being used as PrEP. For some reason I thought the PrEP drugs (Truvada) were actually the same as the HIV treatment drugs but I never knew for sure. So I guess they need to indicate that Tavin EM is also to be used as the PrEP drugs.

Tavin EM

Tenvir EM

It wouldn't hurt being more clear... that's what I would say to Mueller also. I think Tavin is just another generic.
