Not sure of all the topics discussed here, I have ever seen one on sleeping habits... So to kick it off:

I generally sleep Alone in a king sized bed, in the Nude. Room is pitch black dark. I am a SIDE sleeper, preferably on my right side, with a full lenght body pillow between my knees... I sleep on 3 feather/down pillows, with a fluffy comforter over a flat sheet. Window is open wide, except in dead of winter....

If anyone cares to join me, there is always room for one more.... NO HAGGLING !

Me too, but I sleep face down.

On my left side, 2 pillows, blankets over my ears, CPAP mask on and my dog against my back

In the nude, one pillow, flannel sheets, on one side then the other, and I hate to admit this but with a woolen ski cap (read nightcap) since I prefer my bedroom very chilly or to my occasional bedmates downright COLD>

I sleep on my side, naked, with four "down alternative" pillows (down pillow aggravate my allergies). I cover myself with just a blanker from the waist up and a blanket/comforter from the waist down.

PS: Great thread, jjk!!!

Usually nude, right side, three feather pillows to start, but I thrash and change positions all night. I like it in the chilly side. Can't cuddle or have anyone touching me.

First, you folks who sleep with your pets......I love you..... nothing like feeling that little body next to you.

Me.... Queen bed(hold your remarks, please... haha), start on my left side in fetal position (probably want to get back in the womb) and end up who knows where in the morning. 1 feather pillow... don't know what type of feathers, (probably chicken), cover with 1 sheet and light quilt, and feet ALWAYS sticking out from under. Windows open 365 days a year. Outside the window is a small water fountain. If I wake up during the night and hear it, I have to get up and pee.

Gee you guys, I really appreciate the participation and responses in this thread. It seems we all have alot more in common than we may have thought. Here's my only issue, as I mentioned I sleep nude, but now in my golden years I am starting to question that choice. If I die in my sleep, they'll find me NEKKID, and that probably wont be a pretty picture. So I am experimenting with a minimal of clothing, but its just not natural for me, and doesnt feel good.

I always sleep naked-just don't see the point in getting dressed to sleep. In the past when I have I always ended up with fabric bunched in my crutch! If I'm found naked what do I care? I'll be looking on LMAO!!

If I'm tired, I can sleep anytime, anywhere. At home the A/C dialed down to 69 degrees (that's the dog's preference, not mine) I sleep under a down-comforter, the hound sleeps on top, and somewhere in the night she moves to the floor (apparently 69 degrees feels better on tile)...Black out curtains and ear plugs (I can't stand to even hear the clock tick, and the hound snores)...I always sleep in something that would be wearable outside should an emergency occur. That comes from my SoCal days, when there was fear of earthquakes (0ld habits are hard to break...)

Over the last week, very badly. Out of nowhere, it became very difficult to fall asleep and even more difficult to stay that way. No idea why.

Does exercise really help?

I only started sleeping in the nude about a year ago. On occasion I where whatever I put on after getting from from work (gym shorts or sweatpants and a Tshirt) if I fall asleep on the couch watching a game and am a little groggy when I make it to bed.

King size bed, and I flip from side to side. I'm usually tight to the edge despite having the full bed. A sheet and blanket with two pillows.

Funny thing is when I am in a hotel, I don't always sleep on the same side of the bed as when I'm home.

I sleep in hotel rooms about 5 out 7 days a week, so I'm not too picky about my bed, linens, or pillows. I usually set the AC at 65 degrees and sleep naked and on my belly - I like the feel of the mattress against my morning wood. At home, the dogs and the cat reluctantly share their California King with me. I consider myself lucky if I get a pillow.

I have been sleeping nude since I moved into a place of my own in the mid-60’s. I sleep on my left side and seldom move except to get up and go to the bathroom, which is happening more and more frequently as I age. I have a queen sized bed on which I only use percale sheets because they are crisp and cool. On the top sheet I place a flannel sheet which I use in place of a blanket. When I had a dog I used a cheap sheet on top of the flannel sheet so she could lay on the bed with me to watch television and have continued the practice even now that she is gone. I use a tiny goose down pillow which I take with me even when I travel. I like a very cool (cold) bedroom and thus keep the glass slider open and never use heat even in the dead of winter which really isn’t that cold here in Southern California. I prefer sleeping alone and therefor seldom hire escorts for overnights.

In my San Diego apt I have a full sized bed. In Portland it's a queen and in Salt Lake City it is a king. Always sleep on my side with LOTS pillows.

Used to sleep in the nude. But, last November I ended up in the hospital and am now afraid of having a medical emergency and needing EMS help. So, I now sleep in a shirt and gym shorts.

i have to sleep in pitch darkness, with the blankets pulled over my head. I either sleep with my arms crossed on my chest like a mummy, and my feet crossed at the ankles... or I sleep on my side with the blankets again pulled over my face/head.
