....and to all Rent Men of the Day who have gone before and to those who have yet to come. At the other end of the spectrum I just a couple of hours ago met for not the first, not the second, but the third time, this same fake-ad guy. He is still out there, though this particular ad lacked some of his trademarks and therefore slipped under my radar. Anyway, it serves for making me aware that he's still operating so that was a helpful eye-opener even though I was denied what I had expected was going to happen based on the ad pics. Goes to show you never know. No money, no scenes were involved.

how come, when I go to rentmen.com, a dude named gustavodurand comes up as rentman of the day on the homepage (Sunday, March 20)?

 

The ROD goes by region. Look for ROD in the east.

Really? Well that kind of diminishes one of my qualms about buying the spot. I always found when I made rentboy of the boy I would get dozens of calls from Musky Nuts, Tennessee and the like. If they break it down geographically, that would make sense for escorts as well as give them better revenue flow.

Hello All,

 

It is true that in many cases escorts do pay to be Rentmen of the day, but in some cases some don't. The reason I know of this being true is due to the fact I was made ROD back on March 8th, and didn't pay for it at all.

 

What's even more ironic is I didn't even know I was made ROD until a client told me, and I look on my account details and found what he said was accurate.

 

The reason I may not have noticed it was due to the fact they break ROD by geographical region, and if your not looking carefully for escorts in your region - you won't notice it.

 

For example if your looking for escorts in CA but your search is set in your account to look up escorts in NYC, your gonna get who the Rentman of the day is in the eastern region and not in the western region. It is weird and somewhat confusing, but interesting at the same time of how they catalogize how ROD works.

 

Also, from what I been informed is when you purchase ROD, they catalogize your purchase by having you select which region you would like your ROD to be placed before confirming your purchase for the ad. This better explains why different ROD's come up in different locations as the way it works is your ROD in that region and not like it was with Rentboy where you cover the entire US.

Throws his dog out the window? Lives in Queens you say? Has an ad up you say?

 

I've never given more thought to booking an appointment and folding someone's teeth back the minute they open the door, then right now. How is this motherfucker not in jail?

Not only that, but I reported the fake-pictures ad to Rentmen yesterday and today I get this reply from them:

 

<<<Thank you for your message.

Recently a picture verification was sent to the user.

 

We got his verification, so we only advices him to update his pictures.

According to the verification, the user is the same as the person on the

pictures.>>>

 

I guess we're all on our own if the verification process that Rentmen uses fails so completely. That response is not one that inspires confidence in their operation, at least not for me.
