My friend makes them...but I don't care for them. I'm more traditional. I like buckwheat pancakes with pure Maple Syrup. That's it....Nothin fancy. ;)

I like the buttermilk kind the best, but ricotta really adds something. I trust that they'll be made right on the Titanic.

Actually 3rd class looks pretty good too. Except for supper maybe.

i haven't made these , but they do make pineapple pancakes at Blue Heaven in Key West. However, i'd prefer to have their BLT, Bacon Lobster and Tomato benedict.

I'd order this with a few alterations. 1st they'd have to 86 the lobster and English muffins to Davy Jone's locker. 2nd they'd have to change the Eggs Benedict to scrambled. 3rd ditch the hollandaise sauce for salsa and pico de gallo. 4th wrap the whole thing in a flour tortilla or stuff it into a wheat pita. :p

All i can say to that Gar1eth is you don't know what you are missing.

The BLT must be like bottoming then -a reported pleasure-but one I plan never to know. o_O

I like the idea but when I make pancakes, after they settle I cut out the center in a circle and pop and egg in there. When flipped, it is egg over easy. My other choice is, instead of the egg, place a round sausage pattie in the center.
