Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some feedback/constructive criticism on my website.

Any advice on the layout, content, etc. would be appreciated, but my main concern is about the ads. Are they so distracting that it warrants upgrading to a paid premium website?

Thanks in advance,

Ken

May just be me, but whenever I go to a website w/adult content, and a pop-up appears for something other (I really don't take the time to see what it actually is), I close it all down and never return.

Pop ups were annoying. One filled the whole page, and I wasn't sure at first if it was a pop up or your site. Besides that, I didn't see any pictures in the gallery that weren't restricted. Having restricted pics is fine, but there should be some for general viewing. Everything else seemed straight forward and easy to read and view...

Nice smart-looking site, gorgeous man, nice quality pics. The copy is well-written and free of typos and grammatical errors. Pop-up ads are a distraction. I always find the word "elite" in describing yourself pretentious. I have never liked giving brand names to the various levels of service.

I like it. I agree about the annoying pop ups, but that's probably out of your control. I can tell you that after checking it and reading your FAQ, I will seriously consider you to hire next time you are in DC and I have disposable money. I like you.

Suggestions:

1. Your about page states your rate is 200/250, but when you go to your rates page the lower amount is 250.

2. In your FAQ page there is an itinerary calendar with no itinerary. Drop a t or use it.

3. In your about page you only report USA as your location. I think you should be more specific.

Good luck!

I'm obviously stuck at home with nothing to do. One more suggestion. I just checked your RM profile. You do have face pictures there. Maybe there is a way to have them also in your website protected by a password you would only share with selected potential clients. And this is the last one.

What these guys said. Only to add that you need to clarify your home base region and perhaps integrate that into your itinerary calander as I assume that no mention means that you are in your home region. Otherwise it has a nice clean look.

The full page pop-up at the beginning made me wonder if I had gone to the wrong site. I would recommend using another site builder. I use Wix for mine. It runs about $25 a month, but that includes hosting. It's incredibly user friendly and customizable. Check out my site if you wanna see an example, LanceSF.com

I agree. No annoying pop ups and advertisements.

Spend the extra money and don't use www.escortdesign.com to host your site. The advertising is a turn off.

Other than that, nice job!

With as much happening in the escort business - having a clear and precise web site is critical. A few suggestions

  • Look at other escort web sites to see what works
  • When shopping for a web design person - pay them by the hour - turn away providers who only quote for the package deal (I'll do your site for $2500)
  • Add your website to your profile here
  • Consider using A4A professional - when you get inquires - paste a standard response referring them to your web site. That alone will add creditability the charge more that typical A4A talent
  • Lurk on here frequently - learn from others on here

Good luck

Two more thoughts:

Regarding the pop up ads, at first I thought that you had a very convincing sex change operation. Not quite what I expected to see initially.

As regards your itinerary, I notice that you will be in Boston during February. As I noted above you need to fill in the other blank dates with an indication of where you will be and I assume that will be your home base. However, since the description of your home base is from NYC to DC with Philly in between, a bit more specificity would aid clients in knowing where you might be on any given date. It's great that you want to cover such a large geographical area, but it also is impossible to be easily in two different places on the same day. NYC to DC is quite a lot of ground to cover and clients like to know that their escort will be rested and with it, not wiped out from Traveling from point A to point B. That's why I refrain from hiring guys on their first day of arrival in any given area. Traveling drains a lot of energy. 'Nuf said!

Bear, you were the first person I thought of when I saw those pix. :p

Okay, I'm just going to say it because I'm a big ol' homo. All the ads with straight couples and females did not work for me. @Lance_Navarro website was more comfortable for me. If you could get rid of all of those ads for $25 a month it might really be worth it. Your photos are great though!

I have a wonderful pop up blocker and had no problems at all.

When I navigated through the well laid-out site, I did so with the thought... "Would I hire this person?" And my answer is a resounding yes.

The only place where i stumbled is when you listed your location as "United States" - you clarified later on in the site, but I though just the US was a bit non-specific.

Bravo otherwise!

Take Lance's tips he has one of the best pro pages I have come across. Makes me want to hire him.

Echo everybody else regarding the ads. As soon as the first pop up came up I would have normally closed out the whole site.
