For me it depends on the situation. If the client is offering a nice weeklong trip my rate can be negotiated taking into account the trip. Basically depending on the amount of time spent and what we are doing will help determine the rate at times. If someone were to offer dinner as part of a 2 hour appointment probably no adjustment in rate. If the client were to do a weeklong getaway to an exotic island with all meals paid then yes there is room for discussion.

Cash :).

I've had clients ask me to lunch/dinner off the clock, I usually will say yes. ;P (I'm a fatty at heart), way to my heart is food!!

Be sure to do a cinnamon supplement----blocks a good chunk of sugar absorption.

I'm definitely open to it and have done it in the past with clients. It never hurts to ask. Leather hides to the front of the line, please.

Oh my...

That said, I remember once I helped a young man do a car repair, well engine rebuild really, on an aging Porsche, so that he could make his way back to Colorado. He was generous in his repayment to me.

Took it for months. Didn't make a bit of difference in postprandial glucose or fasting blood glucose values.
