Reality TV - Trading Spouses

Lately I've seen ads for a new reality TV show on Fox called "Trading Spouses - Meet Your New Mamma". Apparently two families will switch Moms for a couple of weeks and she will bring new rules for the family.

 

Reality TV doesn't bother me since it's previously been reserved for consenting adults. But, IMHO, this new show has the potential for really screwing up the kids. x(

 

Now I wouldn't have a problem with childless couples trading spouses (although I'm not sure I'd want to play voyeur and watch the film). I just have a problem with what I think it can do to the kids.

Did anybody see Chappelle's Show on Comedy Central when they he did a segment with this scenario? I think they even called it "Trading Spouses." It was meant to be a parody -- who would have thought they'd do it for real?

 

When oh when will the reality show craze end? Seems like this is all teevee can offer anymore.

Are you suggesting they are including sex in this exchange of mothers? I wasn't under the impression that it did, but I never watch regular TV so don't know for sure. One of the major networks is also doing this same scenario but I can't remember the name. That network says FOX stole the idea from them.
