Whenever I see a shopping cart blocking a parking space in a lot, I move it out of the way; if I am on my way into the store, I take it with me.

Rvwnsd's comment reminded me that there are still places where stores give away plastic shopping bags. Here that is illegal--everyone is supposed to bring their own reusable bags, or buy a bag at check-out. Yet no matter how many reusable bags I keep in my cars, I still often forget to take one with me when I go into the store.

Me too. And I always forget my grocery store discount card too.

I've come to rely on a stock of the plastic grocery bags to pick up after my dog on walks. So am I recycling?

Plastic bags may be recycled. I use paper for my dog poo.
