A memorable review of a memorable fellow. Thanks to the reviewer for sharing his story, and a nod to David who I am glad to have met.

I read the reviews mainly for their sexual content because I'm a dirty old man and constantly on the hunt, and they have been very helpful in this regard. I'm not interested in long monologues about the escort's beauty or his dynamic personality, etc., etc. However, I too have spent an overnight with David and every accolade offered him are on the mark. He satisfied every one of my sexual needs as no one ever has but the down time was equally enjoyable also. This man is so unique and a class act in every way and that needs to be shared. Thank you, Dave.

As someone living with disabilities (though not as severe as those of the reviewer), I found the review very moving. It's not just a matter of David being a classy guy (though from all reports, he is), but of the ways in which escorting (let's be real here, sex work) at its best is a powerful force for good. [insert rant about decriminalization and going after the real bad guys here.]

Thank you, anonymous reviewer, for a beautiful review, and thank you, David, for prompting it. He's not alone, though; I can think of at least three escorts (Legendary Dave, Alec Andrews, and J.D. Daniels) whom I know first-hand, not based on hearsay, have worked around clients' physical or medical conditions.

While I read with interest the review of Mr. David W. formerly of San Francisco but now of Palm Springs, everything that the reviewer wrote is definitely indicative of David. Of all of the escorts I've seen over these now many years, he is truly one world class, very sincere, empathetic, compassionate, sensitive, humane individual. From his penchant for saving animals to his raising large sums of money during his AIDS Life Cycle Ride and on and on and on. He's one remarkable man, and I am glad that he and I consider ourselves friends. We're on each other Facebook pages, and occasionally I write to him regarding his travels, for he and I have yet to meet to discuss this aspect.

I solidly concur with everything that the previous writers posted. Thanks gents! Thanks, David! Thanks to the initial reviewer for his recapturing and relaying of a genuine experience!

Craigville B, I woulda bypassed this review bc of length. Thank you for flagging it. I, too, want to thank the reviewer and David.

Thanks to the reviewer for having the good sense to explain that , when it comes to sex, fundamentally humans want to feel they are an object of desire and affection. Reviewer, you triggered that for David. You didn't elicit this experience from David bc he is kind, compassionate, classy, blah, blah, blah. You elicited that reaction bc David was INTO YOU. That's what I choose to believe.

David, I hope you read this, man. Thank you for being in touch with your sexuality and exploring it with the reviewer. Although I've never met you, to me, this review indicates you are my kind of provider: someone who is willing to explore pleasure.

The true measure of a individuals character are the quiet things they do in life without anyone watching. Sure the good gentlemen who posted the review was watching, but the escort could have just punted on the whole appointment and nothing more would have been said. I doubt the reviewer would have posted a review if the appointment result was one of a more "mechanical" event.

Like Raven and others, I was moved by this review, which was powerfully and insightfully written. And I agree with Raven that this review exemplifies how escorting can be uniquely humanizing. All I want to add is that, since Freud and the Kinsey reports, it has been hard to deny that sexual satisfaction is an important part of human happiness and flourishing. All of us have disabilities (I am elderly and near-sighted), and escorts are one way people with the most severe disabilities can still find deep sexual satisfaction.

BRAVO, David. BRAVO, Reviewer.

All of us have disabilities

Slightly off-topic, but can I get an amen? This whole business of separating us into able-bodied and disabled is such BS. Everyone is disabled in one form or another. It may manifest as a prejudice, an obsession, or something else not specifically physical (or even medical), but we all have something holding us back.

I think it's a two way street though. Yeah, I'm sure he knew what he was doing was having an impact. However, I imagine it can be just as rewarding providing that service and the unspoken gratitude one receives. Just like some would prefer to give gifts for Xmas to getting.

Not to sound too pollyannaish, but maybe we are all differently able, QTR ;) We just won't find out how much unless we engage. Sitting here envious of the time David & reviewer had.

I think I may be bragging, but multiple times with David ended up each being even better than the one before. Even with long periods between meetings he always knows me and remembers our times together. "A class act" is understating the facts! If you are reading this, David, when are you going to be in NYC again????

That's a more positive way of describing the same phenomenon, I think.

Different people look at it different ways. I would not say I'm differently able because the way I experience my conditions is as a marked decrease in what I used to be able to do. It's also had a measurable impact on my income. But I've also figured out ways to cope with it and ways in which it's changed me for the better. For example, I'm more used to living in the moment and appreciating the little things than I used to be.

I am a glass half empty person compelled by circumstance to be a glass half full person because otherwise I'd be unhappy and bitter.
