If you like thai, try Lotus of Siam. Off the strip, reasonable and transformative experience.

I add my vote to Lotus of Siam, Greg. Although it's been awhile, dearly departed Gourmet Magazine rated Lotus the best Thai restaurant in America. It's in a little strip mall, not impressive, but the food.... I just read that they have earned Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence every year since 2005.

Wynn recently finished an overhaul of its buffet as well, might be worth a try.

I agree with the recommendation of Wicked Spoon at Cosmopolitan and Caesar's Palace.

The next tier would probably be Aria, Planet Hollywood. If $ is a concern, value wise, I think Main Street Station downtown, or one of the unrelated Station Casinos (unless the went back up in price) have the best price points. Sometimes signing up for a players card will get you a discount if you don't do much playing.

Caesar's is famous but pricey.

Try Aria's buffet next door for better price point.

Or any other suggestions? I'll for sure be at the Bellagio to see their greenery that they have in display. But don't mind venturing to another hotel for eats. @Brian Kevin can you same day ship me your fabulous eatin dress? You know the one width the gold lamé sequins and crystals.

Hugs,

Greg

"Bahama Breeze" is my goto place to take someone for lunch.

"Fogo de Chão" next door if you want to knock their socks off.

"L&L Hawaiian Barbecue" is my comfort food and closest to the island food (Fast Food)

"Golden Steer" for old school steaks or "Circus Circus" for steakhouse.

Palms or Aria for buffets

Keep those foodie recommendations coming. I'll be in Vegas next week.

I'm getting confused; Chocolate covered balls? I don't think that Hersey's will allow you to do that. But if they're game, I'm perfectly willing to watch.

If you want to drag me to Caesars buffet (kicking and screaming) understand that I will eat you under the table, dress or no dress. Let's make it lunch so that it doesn't bankrupt you.

"Fogo de Chão" is about the same price and you get young men bringing you their meat on skewers asking if you want a slice (or two)

Daddy I love me chocolate covered berries, but we can call them balls. I'm okay with that... ALSO, if young men with meat on skewers came near me I would decline and grab the whole skewer. You should know this about my by now. Also, if you're smarty you know how to use My Vegas rewards and also, if going to gamble you should do so at Ceasars Palace with a card (I eat at Circus Circus for free, I unfortunately have a couple thousand dollars of rewards. I really like slots, and I REALLY like roulette. BUT that ship has sailed as the hoes on facebook are saying "NEW YEAR NEW ME"

Being born and raised in Cleveland, OH (shiver) when I am in Vegas, I feel to urge to LET GO! Spend 100$ on a buffet, gamble my checking account away (I have a savings don't worry daddy!)Fortunately, I'm on my (7th to 10th time) to Vegas, I thought I was keeping track but after October and me and my girlfriend renting that party bus and having an open bar.... It's really foggy, every time I try to remember any trip, I end up on the bus blacking out, bitches love blacking out* (and buffets) (Even the first time I went, ends in this memory, even though I didn't do it then, I think my mind has manifested that party bus to leave myself in all my glory)

*I my friend, am a happy drunk! I haven't drank since Thanksgiving or gone clubbing or dancing ='[ I'm getting my priorities together (AKA GETTING OLD)

Planet Hollywood Spice Buffet is pretty good.

The MGM group has a 24hr buffet pass good at most MGM properties.

In all cases sign up for the various “Players Cards”. They are free, give discounts for buffets and restaurants and may have other freebee. For the Strip in particular get these:

M-Life (MGM Properties)

Grazie (Palazzo, Venetian)

TR Total Rewards (Caesar’s Properties)

Forget the gambling and spend your checking account at db Brasserie. No Michelin star like the one in NY, but it was the best meal I had in Vegas. Next time, I'm hoping to try Nobu.
