I had to laugh when I saw this thread. My partner is wearing this one to his work Christmas party, which is for a financial institution. Last year, we were the only 2 (out of 500) that wore an ugly Christmas sweater.

 

The company who makes them have a whole line in very interesting fabrics. They may not be 'fashionable', but they are fun! And inexpensive too. His jacket, tie and pants were only $99.

My Scottish cousins and I are nae amused. We wear this type of clan garb year round, and dinae take kindly to lowlander mockery. Be careful. You might get a taste of my shillelagh stick. (Which is what is filling out the fly of the model in red.)
