Gem, I came across this picture this morning ... I'm hoping it's one of your neighbors (getting ready to pay you back for your help with snow removal).

Unfortunately he is not one of my neighbors but I would gladly help him out with anything he needs done.

That is convenient. :D

Maybe I should offer the services of my 4wheel drive to connect escorts and clients? (for a small handling fee of course);)

I use snow day to wear all my best boots and coats (though it kinda annoys me that guys in Denver will go out in a t-shirt and tennis shoes no matter how cold or snowy it gets. New York is far more winter fashion). Then at night, it's catching up on porn or horror movies in front of a hot pine/mesquite fire.

I just happened to be "home" in Denver for this one. I found it funny people were clearing the shelves at the grocery store. The snow came and went and the sun is already out. Must of been all the new people who moved here from New Jersey or Chicago and think the world is going to end lol.

That said, I was kinda bummed that an expected client's flight was cancelled to the area,...but if I did go I'd just drive my Front wheel drive out. 4WD is good for avoiding getting stuck in deep snow, but I've climbed up and down mountain passes all along I-70 and I-25 during the worst snows without spinning out.

Not sure I would pass your fashion test. I probably look like I was on the back cover Ducks Unlimited. o_O

Snowstorms started changing around here in the mid 90's when we started getting californicated. Hasn't been the same since.

I agree having a 4wd doesn't not mean that every person with one, should be out driving. But the SUV dealerships won't tell people that.

Growing up in the mountains I am pretty confident in my winter mountain driving skills. :D

No one really dresses for anything out here so you're not alone. When I dress a little spiffy, they pretend to not notice. I regularly get women compliment me on things, the guys just stare.

That said, the one time I found myself in need of a 4 wheel drive was in Florida of all places earlier this year. What was supposed to be a shortcut thru a wooded dirt road, ended up being stuck engine deep in something similar to quick sand. Even the AAA man declined to help lol.

Now that sounds like a fun time to me. :D

I dress for the weather: cold, snow, wind, rain. Those little things that could make your day miserable if not dressed properly.

Unfortunently, no matter how warm you dress for Denver weather, the people here are still cold as fuck. I'm miserable here in any weather.

I have been back in this town for only a little over a week. I've seen and been exposed to so much hate, jealously and animosity from the gays in just these few days. The straight people are no better, because they're so conservative and into themselves. I just don't get these people. You go to a bar to socialize and have fun. These nut cases go to argue, bicker and act a goddamn fool. Then, one minute a guy is all over you, the next day they talk about how they aren't looking for anything serious...when all we did is met once or twice...p.yet THEY were the one who made the first move!? But to these wackos, that's getting serious, and they start playing games.

I can't wait to leave this state next week. And I'm definitely going to be looking for a new city to move before the year ends. I can't take another year in Colorado. I like the mountains and the snow, but this is a place for White/Hispanic families and self-loathing ethnic gay men who are only into white men. Sad place to live. And business is only getting worse.
