Especially if your a Royals fan.

Not really. It's actually a pretty good game either way. There's stuff happening left and right, unlike MOST games where nothing happens for two hours and then you go "WOO!".

See wouldn't it be nice to have a sports forum of some sort?o_O just saying.

That's above my pay grade.

yeah broke it open in the eighth well i will be there Friday to root on the Mets. They lost the first two at home when they beat the Red Sox in 1986 and lost the first one and won 4 straight when the beat the Orioles in 1969 So What me Worry?

Losing last night was a big hurt though. 2 hours away from victory and Familia on the mound is about 99%

That's why we play the game instead of relying on stats.

If you go by stats, the Cubs should have beaten the Mets in NLCS. Didn't happen. (And the Cards should have beaten the Cubs in NLDS. Didn't happen either.)

Play ball!

Well Syndegaarde needs to throw his first pitch right at the head of the leadoff hitter for KC. They made a big point of how Murphy was too comfortable at the plate and Cueto threw him very tight. All the KC batters were too comfortable. 100 MPH fastball at the coconut going to make you feel a bit uneasy. DeGrom had too much control and they sat and waited in the one inning. A few close pitches earlier in the game would not have let them be so comfortable. Two out no one one...Coconut. Two out pitcher coming up next....Coconut. Have the umpires warn the teams if need be. Not saying to hit him. Just knock em down. Make them move their feet.
