You men along with Steven Kesslar last year hosted a great party and the weekend was terrific. Thanks for the hard work you guys have put in. This will be my second weekend there and I only regret that I missed the first ten.

Would Palm Springs be manageable from LA (or vice versa) by air? Since I was looking to do an LA vacation, I might combine the 2.

NYClocker you can do LAX to Palm Springs by air but it is both expensive and time consuming. You would probably be better off to rent a car at LAX and drive to Palm Springs. The driving time is about 2 1/2 hours plus depending on the time of day. If you are flying in from New York the time change works in your favor coming west. You would want to try to arrive at LAX between 10 and 11 in the morning. Once you have a car the rental agency can give you directions to the 10 Freeway and then it is a straight shot to Palm Springs. After the Weekend festivities you could drive back to LAX and dump the car and then take a shutter or cab to your Los Angeles hotel. If I can be of any additional assistance please private me and I will give you my telephone number and be can discuss this further.

I am planning a NY to LAX flight landing at about 12:30 and then a drive to PalmSprings. I am flying in on Virgin America so if you are coming in any time near that on the Friday before, we could possibly share a ride. I think the appropriate thing (IMHO) is call people by their escort name unless they indicate otherwise. I usually tell people, including people I haven't met before, to call me by my real name. Some do, some don't. I think my assumption would be that an escort might not want his real name being used in earshot of other people, including by other escorts. (This of course does not matter if you drag them back to your hotel and fuck them privately. Not that you would do anything like that).

 

I think the same goes for forum members who are not escorts, actually, unless they indicate otherwise. What do others think?

IMHO, a great idea. I am so anxious to speak with you all , but as a newbie to PS, I don't know any faces, and I'm afraid I'm going to be overwhelmed by trying to remember who is who. This seems especially likely since the group is predicted to be larger than in the past. I get nervous just thinking about dozens of new faces and names. Simple, self-written name stickers would be excellent!! Im going to use my forum name, because that is how my friends here know me. Switching to real names adds another layer of confusion, don't you think?

There used to be multiple daily flights from LAX to PSP by SkyWest, which handles the short hop for several other airlines. However, a few months ago they reduced it to only one flight per day, which means it is probably harder to book. Now there are actually more options to PSP from Phoenix or Vegas.

My policy is to first introduce myself by my forum name, then my real name, to anyone I converse with beyond "hi, how are you, nice to meet you." I may have mentioned my real name when we went around the room introducing ourselves during the 2015 DC forum lunch, but I don't remember. Maybe someone who was there can help me out. But I can see why some clients as well as most escorts would want to stick to their escort or forum names.

 

As for the people whose names I already know but have not met, I try not to commit them to memory because I don't want to accidentally use them in public or some other inappropriate place. Also, as Glennn mentioned, it can add exponentially to the amount of names to remember. So please don't be insulted if I don't remember your real name if you share it.

You and me both! My observation from DC (and I didn't talk to everyone so it's not conclusive) is that the clients tended to introduce themselves by their real name and then say what their forum handle was. I don't recall using anything other than a forum name talking to escorts. On a separate but related issue, I've had interactions with several escorts from the forum and all but one have kept everything to their forum name. The exception is a guy whom I have only chatted to on line and in about the second or third PM he signed with his real name (or should I say a name that was different to his forum name!). PMs with other clients are running half and half(ish) with a non-forum name being disclosed. I guess that's indicative of what the guys will prefer at PS, and I suspect it also indicates that one would need to ask each of them what they prefer. But I guess the answer to the original question is, 'It depends'!

If you can plan to fly into LAX on a Sunday morning. When I go I take the drive to PS around 9 a.m. on Sundays and usually get there in less than 2 hours.
