Had made reservations at a hotel, but since my good friend who lives in Southern California is unable to join me-- I canceled my hotel reservations. ...too, too, too bad, for I was so much looking' forward. You know Axiom, if you decide to join us, you will have plenty of friends there, you just would not have met most of them. Reconsider. And if you have some special needs, there will plenty of helpful guys there, no matter what shape those needs may take.

Boy, do I want to reinforce what PK said. Many of you know Oliver and Epigonos. They were visiting each other here in Palm Springs, so they invited me to dinner 3 nights ago. I went. So they invited me to dinner 2 nights ago. I went. They invited me to dinner last night. I couldn't make it. So they invited me to breakfast this morning, instead, which I just got back from. Part of the problem is when we open our mouths, we can't stop talking. As if there isn't something better to do with your mouth, anyway!

 

I suppose I could say I went because we are good friends who've known each other for years and we enjoy spending time together. But honestly, its more like this. One is an old slut, one is an asshole, and then there's me - a total prick. So we all really just tolerate each other. But I swear to God, when you see us together, you'd think we're the best of friends, like old wives or something.

 

Part of the really fun part of a party like this is getting the chance to make new friends. Everybody is welcome. I'm just reading what you said verbatim, but if the issue is you were "so much looking forward" to coming, and you have a good friend who for whatever reason isn't able to join - so what? Come anyway. It's his (or her) loss.

 

I'm now reading into what you said, but there's another forum member who is very much looking forward to attending for the first time, and they may need a lift because the person they planned to come with who has a car maybe won't be able to make it. I already posted that when the time gets closer and it's clear who's coming and where they are staying, we can help organize rides (there is also Uber) so everybody without cars can get to the festivities. As PK said, everybody is helpful. I think especially those of us who live here understand that it can be expensive and difficult to get here, and we'll bend over backwards (please don't read into that) to make you feel welcome and have the fun, relaxing time you deserve, and help meet whatever special needs you have. As long as you can accept the fact that some of us "old timers" just have to tolerate each other's company.

Does Uber or Lyft opperate in the PS area? For everyones safety ( I am a g-d awful driver) it's best if I dont drive. No joke.

Yes Greg, they do operate in PS and with Stage Coach taking place that weekend as well a lot of ubees and lyfters will be coming into the area from the IE, the OC, LA, and SD to make some extra cash. You'll be golden.

Lol no way am I gonna piss off my Bosnian boss lady. Plus Im in training to be an assistant and need to have it done by next month. The Hungarian just got laid off ao theres no travels for him for a spell. If anyone has any leads for restaurant mgt let me know.

Now that the charges have been dropped regarding the 6 employees working for rentboy.com - I may have Lady Coco to come back again this year now that she's free and clear to travel again. I'll ask her tonight if she maybe up for the idea. .

 

After all she's been through this past year with the whole rentboy.com fiasco, she could use fun-filled relaxed trip for once.

Well Tristan - Yes - that was the idea, of course to go over the idea more with the host, but then again, it's already been told to me by several members who met her last year that they wish she could attend again this year, so I don't think it'll be a problem of her attending again being she's been approached about the idea ahead of time.

 

You're right that it's best to get input from the other forum members - absolutely, but being how well-received and liked she was last year by Escorts, Forum members, and Host - I don't think that'll be a problem of her attending this year.

However, after speaking with Coco about the idea, she said she would love to come, but couldn't make it this year due to other obligations she has planned during the event. However, she sends her best wishes, and do plan to attend for sure in 2017.

To be quite honest with you, I wish ALL the rentboy.com staff could attend being they've ALL had a rough time this past year . Hell - they all can use an extensive vacation. LOL. Didn't mean for my post to make it sound as it was all about Coco - not at all. Only brought her up because now she is free of the charges held against her with Rentboy.com, and being she enjoyed being at the event year, maybe it'll be a good idea to have her get away from NYC, and enjoy herself at the PS event like she did last year.

 

She loved being at the event in PS, and enjoyed her time tremendously with all of the forum members. She adored you, Tristan, and thought you were HOTTT. .

 

She loves her some sexy muscle men with a hot body both hairy and smooth, and you fit the bill along with a few other hunks.

If you go to last years PS event thread(that's attached below), baby - you'll find she was adored by a lot of the guest at last years event. I'll attach a link here so you can see for yourself of the many positive comments that were made.

 

Trust me - there's no issue whatsoever of her possibly attending if she wanted to. Last year there was an issue being there's never been a woman attending the PS event in the past years, and she broke the mold as the first woman ever to attend last years event in Palm Springs.

You're totally missing what I was getting at; it wasn't Coco specifically- remember, I got along great with her, worked with her all the time over the phone in the RB days. It's not HER specifically that was the issue I was remarking about. But we'll dead the issue. I mean, my gay friendly kid sister Daria is available to hang out too, since I won't be able to attend this year- shall we invite her too? Maybe she'll bring some of her friends around and hang out topless! It'll be grand! Since we're so set on 'breaking molds' recently?

 

I mean, rather than breaking molds...maybe there are some who would prefer a tighter mold or a return to a certain mold that they'll be more comfortable in. Just saying.

 

You might find this hard to believe, but I know it to be fact, may the dog I post so much about DIE IN MY ARMS tonight if I'm lying- but do you know there are people who are on this forum, who actually FLEW to palm springs last year for the function, but didn't actually COME to the pool party? And believe me...in no way shape or form does it have ANYTHING to do with her..or even a specific thing...it has to do with so manyyyyyyyyyyyyy different variables that factor into a person's comfortability with turning a key, driving to an unknown house and meeting others who happen to share their interest in hiring? Even though prior to that moment, chances are they've been 100% discrete about it? It's the complete antithesis of everything they've done comfort-wise and habit wise, to that point...

 

...so the point I'm getting at, is that at the expense of not 'breaking down gender barriers' and expanding molds...is that first we should probably focus on the hundreds if not thousands of guys that are on this board, that we could make more comfortable with the idea of attending an event...before introducing other variables.
