Police say there was 'no criminal activity' in death of high-flying doctor who was carried out of a Manhattan apartment by a HBO producer after 'turning blue' following a cocaine-fueled night out

She went to NYC on Saturday night ostensibly to see girlfriends. Actually, she met a male friend, a TV producer, who took her to the apartment of a drug dealer named Pepsi. By the early morning, this male friend and another men dragged the unconscious woman downstairs, dialed 911, and left her there. She died soon after.

What a sad story. Who knows what really goes on behind anyone's mask? A successful MD, a mother of 3 children ... does not always make happiness. What were her demons? Will anybody ever know? May she rest in peace.

The security cameras show her being carried or dragged down the stairs early in the morning and the police were called several hours later, it is thought that the men who carried her down did the phoning. They were not present when the police arrived. Seems like there might be a reckless indifference to human life type case to be made. Death in the commission of a felony, which the drug dealing may be is quite a serious charge. Hard to believe that there is no criminal activity here.
