Sure, there's easy sex to be had...but will that be with someone towards whom you have a strong sexual attraction? I think the reason some men like to hire escorts even though they could get sex for free is that they couldn't get sex for free with a guy who turns them on as much as the escorts they hire.

Even though they're advertising, they may also be going there for the fun. I've got to believe that they sometimes travel just for fun.

 

They remind me of tattoo artists, who tend to travel a lot and mix work with pleasure travel. They take their equipment with them wherever they go and set up at a local studio at their destination, work a day or two and pay for their trip.

A lot of escorts hit Folsom, Dore Alley, MAL, Claw and IML. I'm sure they book some business in advance but they are mostly there for the same reason as everyone else - to get as much cock as they can. It must be great for them to be off the clock and go for whatever they want and not having to be just their escort profile.

I'm someone who regularly attends IML/MAL and regularly hires an escort there. The reason is because I have literally NO GAME. This year my friends actually made a joke out of it, they watched as guys were (apparently?) hitting on me and laughed at how clueless I was about all of it. It really is kind of funny.

 

But long ago I learned to hire an escort early on over the weekend so I can get the sex I want and focus the rest of the weekend on spending time with my friends. It works out well. As someone said above, everyone has his own reasons.

Yes, I saw that duck -- a few times -- as well. My first thought was, "What the hell is that duck doing walking around Folsom Street Fair?" My second thought was, "What the hell is that duck doing walking around..." I still don't understand it a day later. He's cute, though.
