Could any of the escorts on here clarify if they needed to pay to be listed for either a standard ad, or one of the yellow highlighted ads?

I'm not an escort. But all ads have to be paid for. It isn't a free site.

Can I say this is a ridiculous thing to do? I'd rather have them concentrating on domestic terrorism.

You mean like interviewing Donald Trump?

That's incorrect. You register for an account so that you can utilize the tools of the site. (no pun intended)

One has the option of registering on the site, which allowed for better functionality.

I find it fascinating that millions if not billions of Mexican Cartel and ISIS dollars are being laundered through major U.S. Banks in New York every year. The Feds are perfectly aware of the situation but choose to do nothing. They do nothing because of pressure from the banks who are making millions in fees. The amount of dollars involved with the Rentboy case is peanuts by comparison. However, Rentboy is an easy target thus the Feds can announce a "major" anti laundry suit and not ruffle the feathers of companies with big time political clout.

I know one of the people listed. He is such a nice guy. I hope there is some leniency....

On the other hand, i guess lots of boys in chelsea will have no income for a while... unless they have some regulars....

Which took an email address and password. In general, one might always want to have some random gmail account for salacious uses.

It's not clear to me why one would launder money for a business that's already publicly known... you usually launder money for secret businesses like drug dealings or the mafia...

Perhaps they were laundering money from another business to RentBoy? That would make the most sense for this type of raid.

"Those ads claim to offer companionship and not sexual services — which would be illegal — but prosecutors allege the site is, in fact, hawking prostitution."

Shocking isn't it!!!!

Mobile version is up and there are guys selling their time still. I wonder if they even know.

I once met someone who is on the site (years ago), who had an ad that he never responded to, because he claimed he made most of his money otherwise, but wanted a plausible source for his income. He was a lousy escort.

How would having an ad on Rentboy give someone a plausible source?
