Just don't become a complete stranger. I'm sure you'll want to run any new BHA guys you find past the board for scrutiny.:eek:

~ Boomer ~

I'll promise I'll do my best to stay active in the forum. I just have a very demanding job and cannot have escorts as often as I'd like, but I'm starting to really enjoy some of the people I met here, like you Boomer. :)

achelet Jeria in Chile, Isabel Peron and Isabel Martinez in Argentina, and Dilma Rousseff in Brazil would have had a much more difficult time achieving the positions they did. Eva Peron was the mold breaker who opened up a whole new world, of political power, for women in Latin America

I never thought I would sit back and witness a debate about Evita between foreigners. I do not want to participate, because I cannot be neutral and because I really want to see how it develops. Just one thing, epigonos, Isabel Martinez and Isabel Peron are (is?) the same person. Please, keep going!

I just cannot believe that a departure announcement has generated so many posts... we all must be desperate for communications !! How sad... I don't even know why someone would announce their departure with so few posts in five years...

Maybe if DeNeufaille had known how many posts there would be to his Departure Message, he never would have posted it and gone. But if he never posted it, then he would never have seen how many posts it generated, and then he would still go....

Oy, I'm getting confused. :confused::(

Good news, Gman ... they are easily summarized:

(1.) There is not a single village, suburb, city, state or hotel chain that is good for escorts anymore;

(2.) Everybody cancels;

(3.) It is NOT Joey/Jabari/Jamahl/Mocha/Etc.'s fault.

You are now TOTALLY up-to-date.

One of the funniest posts ever. Thank you for the laugh.

Addendum: I didn't realize he had changed his name again to Jamahl Brandon. It's very strange. Escorts usually change names because they are shady escorts/scammers of some type. Joey always had good reviews here on Daddys. Is it possible outside Daddys a lot of his clients aren't happy with him?

Had meant to say: I don't think that's it. I had a great evening with him a few years ago, and I know three other clients (not posters here) who've more recently had good hires with him likewise.

Appears this serial name-changing is instead just part of his groping to improve his marketing?

Latbear4blk they are not the same person. Isabel Peron was Juan Peron's second wife. Isabel Martinez is the current President of Argentina

Isabel Martinez was Juan Peron's wife and vice president, who became president after his death back in the 70. Nowadays Argentinean president is Cristina Fernandez, Nestor Kirchner's wife.

Sorry about that guys not only did I mess up once but twice.

Maria Isabel Martinez Cartas de Peron was Juan Peron's third wife who served as his vice president and then upon his death became president. She wasn't exactly a rocket scientists and lasted slightly less that two years as president. She proved to be a very poor substitute for Eva. Although she was born in Argentina she met Peron in Panama where she was supposedly a dancer in a nightclub chorus. She currently lives in exile in Spain.

Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, the current President of Argentina, ran for President of Argentina after her husband Nestor Carlos Kirchner (now deceased) completed his second term as president. She ran to continue his programs as he was constitutionally bared from running for a third term. Thus far her tenure as president has proved to be a financial disaster for Argentina.

Your paragraph about "Isabelita" is now historically accurate. But we still have problems with your paragraph about Cristina. She followed Nestor Kirchner after his first term as president, not his second. Some people believe their plan was to alternate each other after one term in the presidency in order to avoid the constitutional limit you mentioned, Epigonos. Unfortunately for them, he died in the middle of Cristina's first term. She is now about to complete her second term. Your statement implying she's responsible for Argentina's financial troubles is controversial but many people would agree.

Wow ... so much reading to catch up to where I left off on this thread ... from a quick scan, here's what I gather ...

Dorian Silver has been spotted en route to Argentina with Rey and Joey Bryant. Joey has heard bad things about current financial conditions in Buenos Aires and is worried that all the clients who scheduled with him are going to cancel. He wonders if a new name that sounds more "Spanish-y" would help. Dorian, who has some experience with multiple names, doesn't think so and, because he's sick of listening to Joey, and to the old Madonna CDs Joey brought along, he is begging Rey to pop the Von Trapp Family Singers into the player and turn the volume up to full blast. Rey wonders why he ever agreed to this trip when he could be spending a long weekend in Palm Springs.

Is that about right?

Sen. Margaret Chase Smith of Maine has not been mentioned, probably because she opened up the Senate, not the White House, to women. Smith was a member of the House of Representative when she ran for the Senate in 1948.

She came from a middle-class background, but never attended college. In some ways, Smith was a moderate Republican version of Harry Truman. She was elected to the House upon the death of her husband.

Smith served four terms in the Senate (1949-1973). She was the first Republican to criticize Sen. Joe McCarthy on the floor of the Senate (in 1950). Smith spent very little money in her Senate races, using just volunteers. For most of her time in the Senate, Smith was the only woman. I was at the Senate for a vote in 1970, and Smith was the only female senator. For years, she had to use the female tourist rest room.

Smith had a difficult relationship with Pres. Nixon. She waited to the last minute to declare against two of Nixon's Supreme Court nominees, thus given less senior Republican senators cover to follow her lead; both nominees were defeated. Smith lost her Senate seat in 1972 by not keeping up with Maine's opposition to the war in Vietnam.

She opened the door for Sen. Susan Collins and Former Senator Olympia Snowe to run in Maine, as they often acknowlege, and for many other woman as well.

Early on, Smith was asked what she would do if she found herself in the White House. Sen Smith: "I would say a pleasant goodbye to Pres. and Mrs. Truman, and go home."

...wondering where the Trapp Family Singers/Sound of Music reference comes from, though?

Tru, I refer you back to post #9 ... apparently I am still amused by my own reference to Maria "The Hills Are Alive" Von Trapp from yesterday and couldn't resist bringing her up again today. (I suppose that should worry me. When I was growing up, my mother was fond of telling me, "Only you think you're funny." )

Ah, well... Maria Von Trapp never made it past her novitiate either and things turned out okay for her.

I never saw Maria with Julie Andrews, but did see her once with Mary Martin. Maria von Trapp apparently arrived at airports just as her plane was getting ready to leave. Von Trapp would say: But, I am Mary Martin starring on Broadway in "The Sound of Music," I must get on the plane.

I wonder how often it worked, or if the story was even true!
