I suppose I should begin by saying that I'm not attracted to children or even to teenagers. In fact, I've started to notice how guys in their early 20s are beginning to seem so young to me, as the lower end of the age group I find attractive creeps inexorably upward.

That's not to say that I don't find some guys in their early 20s very attractive, for I certainly do. It's just that, on average, guys that young simply seem too young to me now to be objects of attraction.

Having said all that, I was in the grocery store late this afternoon and saw one of the most beautiful young men I've seen in ages. Actually, it would probably be more accurate to say one of the most beautiful boys I've seen in ages.

He was probably 15, possibly 16, but no older. He was about six feet tall with those classic, chiseled features that you often find on male models in the pages of glossy magazines. He was one of those boys whose looks are slighly ahead of his age and one could imagine him passing for an 18-year old in a television show -- barely.

This kid was simply stunningly beautiful, in a blond-haired, blue-eyed, boy-next-door kind of way, the kind of beauty that makes you turn around and look again. He was with his father (who was not even slightly attractive; he must get his looks from his mother) and seemed entirely unaffected.

I was staring at him and caught a woman near me also staring. We exchanged looks and then a wry smile. We both knew what the other was thinking.

A chance encounter with a boy at least five or six years too young. But, Lord, was he beautiful.

Wait!! Who exchanged looks - you and the kid, or you and the woman? One's hott, the other's, well, boring. :*

Thanks for the story. It gives encouragement to us all. I think that things like this happen (at least occasionally) to us all. When it does, it kind of makes all the hassles of life a little more tolerable and a lot more worthwhiled.

Oh yes, it certainly does make life more tolerable. It gives you a warmth, almost a morphine high.

My question is:

Is someone who is really attractive just a drug??

A thing of beauty is a joy to behold. In Scandanavia the age of consent is fourteen. Most of Europe it is sixteen. Right or wrong, that's the way it is. I know many straight men who will comment on how handsome a teen age boy is. Everyone likes to look at something beautiful, it makes your day.;)

Charlie has hit it right on! I had a similar experience in Barcelona. I never pursue these charms, just consider myself lucky to have seen the view!
