LOL....Now don't hate me, but....I'd rather take the Caddy. The '58 was my fav. Paul's bod never really did it for me. Wonderful wonderful man mind you, but....Ohhhh that 58 Caddy! Now there's a looker.

More seriously, yes, it is a problem for me, just as it would be a problem to date/have sex with someone my daughter's age (21).

 

This may not be as much of a problem for men (gay or otherwise) because of our different roles when it comes to reproduction.

For anyone not reading between the lines, dating/having sex with someone my father's age or my child's age raises this question: if I'm willing to date/have sex with someone their age, what does that say about them (or, the case of my daughter, her friends?) It's a little too predatory and pseudo-incestuous for me.

 

I was freaked out enough when my father married a twenty-year-old when I was seventeen even though I realize now there were no incestuous vibes, he had no interest in my friends even though they were only three years younger than his bride, they were well-matched (as opposed to him and my then-deceased mom, who were ill-matched), and it had nothing to do with me. Though perhaps telling me how much more grown up and mature she was compared to me was not the right way to make the point.
