I like the USB outlets, think the banana shaped caution signs are hilarious, would buy the USB rechargeable batteries, and am afraid of the toasting knife.

Some of those things are really useful. I've never seen a parking lot with an indicator light, and when I first saw that photo I thought, "What a great idea." The only item on the list I use regularly is a USB charger which, at this point, I'd say is absolutely necessary since some computers' USB ports don't put out enough power to charge devices well and many (most/all?) computers have to be on for their USB ports to provide power.

GREAT POST... I have never seen some of them before, but I think I would like them all. Some are extremely useful. Thanks for this fun and useful post. I need to go shopping.

They are pretty common among shopping mall parking lots in LA.

The Canberra Centre has them too, along with signs as you enter each level indicating how many vacant places there are. Very useful.

The Portland Airport has the parking lot space empty indicator. I LOVE it. Wish every parking lot used it.

We have that at the parking lot of the Tysons Corner mall, very useful saving time looking for a free parking space, my only concern is when someone sees a green light far away and speeds toward it in order to get there first.

Clever ideas for the most part but I can't get beyond the grammar mistake in the title of this thread.

"Are this inventions" necessary?

Perhaps someone should invent something that helps with subject and verb agreement.

What's your suggestion? The OP many times writes misplaces words, yet he's not a foreigner because he calls us "yinz".

LOVE the signs that display the number of available spaces on each level.

Since I only read a limited number of posts, I was not aware that the OP often posts things with what I consider errors. I was not implying anything about his background and I have no idea what "yinz" means but probably could figure it out in context. There have been times when I have posted things with typographical errors that I did not catch before hitting the Post Reply button, so I have sympathy with most "oops" things that appear.
