I remember some of his other posts over the years. He has strong opinions that I do not always agree with. JDXXX, I suggest you respectfully disagree and move on.

 

Not to worry, sweetie - Steven and I have come to the conclusion to just leave this alone for now, and of course let the chips fall where they may regarding the situation at hand with vaballfan where were gonna "Agree To Disagree" with him unfortunately. We'll move on from this knowing we succeeded getting our point across in fighting for what's right. I'm quite confident we made some very important valid points on this thread about race and age discrimination on this thread that needed to be addressed in our society today that is an also affecting in the gay community as well.

 

I pray me and Steven have made a difference for others who have issues with Race or Age discrimination factors in today's gay society on Racial diversity and racial/age preferences.

 

Hope most people on this forum can give all men of different cultural backgrounds, and Age groups a chance to belong in this world as one nation as a whole working for peace - TOGETHER.

 

We both are believers in everyone coming together as one big nation. More like a "Rainbow Coalition" type of society by turning some negative impact of this to a more positive result.

 

Sincerely pray to God from the bottom of my heart that Me and Steve have achieved a major goal by getting through to others here on the forum(as well as possible outsiders who read this whole thread from start to finish), and maybe we touched others by reaching out fighting for what's right. If so, wonderful as that's was the whole point of this fight was aware how this sort of behavior affects others by rejecting people for the wrong reasons based on discrimination.

 

Nothing about discriminating of age or race is NEVER good. Not at all.

 

If Me and Steven can help change rejection flaws based discrimination on age and race for the better in our society today as gay men as well as the outside world out there - so be it as this is all about all men being equal, and not treated like we're a disease you don't wanna catch, and contagious. That's the way it's like being discriminated as an Black man in this world, and wouldn't wish that type of rejection on NOBODY going through any type of discrimination as it's an awful thing to experience this type of rejection knowing your being downed upon due to ignorance that is no fault of your own whatsoever.

 

One thing about me guys, I'm about Peace and Harmony within all men, and just want people to accept me and Steven for who we are. Not hate or discriminate us based on my race, and age.

 

I'm colorblind when it comes to race or age, and so is Steven which is why we have a close bond as friends I'm sure cause we see eye-to-eye surrounding world problems of the past that's affecting further progress for change in the future(Like this problem we have here for example of racial discrimination for which you would think will be in the past is still of a factor in today's society).

 

I'm proud there are guys like Steven in this world who believe in fighting for the right reasons as I think he is am amazing person, and hope from this experience - you will see what a hell of a great guy he is. :).

This has been an interesting and sometime provocative thread, even when I doubt that some wanted it to be that way. I also have an interesting perspective on race for a variety of reasons. I am white, and have many black, Asian and Hispanic friends. I once had a long term relationship with a black man much younger than me. He only dated and slept with older, white hairy guys, so I was the beneficiary of his preferences! I never considered him to be a racist by any means and I met many of his black friends and he met many of my of my white, Hispanic and Asian friends too. However, he had a very specific preference when it came to sex, and frankly I don't see a problem with anyone having a preference in that department. I have met young guys who only date "daddies" and have met other guys who only date guys their own age and race, while others enjoy almost all the races, including some who are mixed race. I also know some daddies who only date young guys. I try hard not to judge anyone's preferences, unless they are hateful, bigoted, etc. and abhor some of the media personalities who use race, sexual preferences, and other characteristics for espousing their personal views. SO IMHO to each his own, and may we all live together in harmony, regardless of our preferences.

I was the one who started this rant about "white twenty something" so I'll take this one, Miami. I agree with tsgarp, the points been made, and I'm ready to move on. But since Miami is looking for more, I can go on forever.

However, over the years, on this site, there have been a multitude of threads highly critical of escorts who in their ads state that they won’t get together with old people, fat people or ethnic people. Should there be a different standard for clients?

 

If there is any clear outcome to this, I think it's what Epigonos said. Of course on an escort website like this people ought to describe escorts and the characteristics they like and don't like about them. That's what this site is for. I'll repeat what I said in one of the threads above: I for one would be absolutely opposed to censoring words (e.g. whore) in how people do that.

 

My point, again, can be boiled down to two words: mutual respect. I think that is the best basis on which to put this to bed. We are going to try to treat each other with mutual respect.

Vaballfan called it "offensive" when I hurled the term "Nazi look alike" at him to describe the type he likes. I actually agree with my own critics, that this debate borders on the ridiculous. Speaking for myself, I've learned some things from this. Objectification hurt Bob Paris when his being a "faggot" and wanting to be married to a guy he loved didn't fit into Joe Weider's conception of the perfect white twenty something bodybuilder. Thanks, Miami, for contributing to my sensitivity training. I actually have adopted a new phrase for myself, which is "the Bob Paris test": does this make me feel more than, or less than?
