The notion of race always complicates discussions like this. Race is such a pervasive issue in our society that it is a difficult mental feat to perform, but if one sets it aside for a moment, and just thinks about phenotypic characteristics, is it so bad to say that one is only attracted to light-skinned people? Is having a preference for a certain skin color any different from having a preference for a certain build, a certain dick size, a certain eye color or hair color? In a racist society such as ours, publicly stating such a preference is sure to stir some controversy, as it has here. But is having a narrow attraction to a certain skin color necessarily racist? Or could it be like having a narrow preference for blonds or hairy chests?

Sweetheart, The issue has been long forgotten as Steven and I have both agreed out of this situation with this particular thread to Agree to Disagree with changing "certain" individuals perceptions on discrimination.
