I'm only posting because this is an on going occurrence. Last year I got written a fraudulent check in San Fran. The kid whipped out a check and then ran out the door, it took all of 15 seconds at most. Fast forward nearly a year later and Derek Crawford got handed a check in the same fashion by the same person but in Chicago. Clearly, this is not an isolated incident and the # of escorts he is impacting could be huge. I am a firm believer that when someone acts honorably they get treated with respect and are privy to client-escort confidentiality. When someone knowingly writes a check out of a closed account, runs like the wind out of the room and does not respond to any calls or texts I have no other reason to believe their intentions were malice. As I recall, It was once discussed on here that a reason to forewarn others would be if a hirer harmed an escort. I'd place financial harm in that category. Money for time plus the fee deducted from the escorts checking account in addition to other legitimate work that could have been done. Feel free to PM me and I can give you more details on how to identify this guy if he calls you.

This is the kind of thing that gives us honest clients a bad name. It might cause hard feelings all around because now Killian, Derek, and other escorts may want their fee at the beginning. While I'd trust Killian and Derek, there's always a risk to do that with unknown escorts.

Clearly the risk cuts both ways, and despite the impression I've gained in the Forum that paying up-front is not the done thing, in my very limited experience, more often than not it was what was requested. At least on the first meeting. The 'cheque and run' gambit is not one I had even thought anyone would try, but some people are infinitely ingenious.

 

Having now seen that card played, I'd be more sympathetic to an escort wanting the money at the beginning of the meeting. That said, where the meeting happens matters. The scammer couldn't use a cheque if he was hosting, just as an escort can't take your money and run if it's his house or hotel room.

Yes, that is why I didn't post it on here. But you can go to my Facebook and twitter to see it. Its not a violation to post it on social media because I didn't encourage others to harrass the person. If I said "everyone go to this address..." that would be a TOS violation. I've said this many many times the conversations on the forum do not reflect protocol on what is actively going on. I know many escorts , including myself who've asked for cash upfront for one reason or the other and its never an issue. Only seems to be one on here among a select few. That seems to be a bit of an entitlement attitude to me. While not now, I hired successfully for around 11 years. I can probably count the number of times an escort asked for money at the start of a session. Now for an overnight or a weekend, I usually handed them the money fairly soon after we 1st met because I didn't want them to think I was scamming them. But almost all the escorts I ever did that with were very surprised and said I didn't have to do that.

Words can not adequately describe how angry it makes me that someone could actually victimize another person in this way. How can they still be able look in the mirror and be okay with what they see? I'm also concerned for the emotional toll something like this takes on the victim and hope that anyone whose experienced this is able to put it behind them.

 

I don't have much in the way of life experience, when it comes to hiring a companion, but I do have a significant amount of experience building friendships and mutual trust with people. I treat my choice/decision to hire a specific escort as the beginning of any new friendship and will afford them all of the courtesies, respect and genuine interact that I would anyone else who enters my life. I have always possessed a keen, intuitive ability at gleaning/predicting people's true intentions (welcome to the world of the INFJ personality type). I think just once, I gave my person a check. He and I cashed it in the morning at his bank, and all was fine. I was trying to get out of town.
