Cleaning my closet (hah!) while I'm home alone.

 

I think it's time to throw out the hidden non-straight porn stash. Three 20-year old VHS videos and a 1995 issue of Stroke magazine featuring Rick Bolton, Chad Donovan, Jake Andrews, Lukas Ridgeston, and a really hot Anthony Gallo & Mark West dom/sub police setting pictorial from "Jawbreaker."

 

I hope the garbage men enjoy them. I certainly did--hundreds of times. :D

Don't think we've even had a VHS player for years! ;)

 

I tossed mine about three years ago. I still had it because I had a 50 VHS set of The Carol Burnett Show. Then it came out on DVD (including the "Mildred Fierce" sketch) and the VHS was history.

Yeah, I googled 'Jake Andrews' recently and saw there was a new guy with the same name. I'd be willing to spend time with either of them. Or both. Preferably at the same time.

Thanks a lot, that's very kind of you but nowadays I need to see a video to get excited, magazine just wouldn't do it for me.

 

Please offer the VHS and magazines on here, I'm sure someone will be happy to get them from you.

One time when I was moving houses, the (straight) movers had some hilarity when a box full of TS skin mags and similar esoterica ruptured in transit. :eek:

 

I eventually tossed all that stuff out, as I found once I started hiring that porn no longer did anything for me at all.

A friend of mine had a similar incident with a dildo that fell out of an open box... obviously it was left on the sidewalk and he had to pick it up, the movers wouldn't touch it.

Although I'm an atheist, may God strike me dead if porn ever does nothing for me (well, I'll have myself checked out medically first). I have lost a lot of jizz from both Jake Andrews, but I've often felt that if I ever met the older Jake Andrews, that I would have to slip him a few hundies, telling him "After all you've done for me (without knowing it), I owe you at least this...".

I don't think I've ever bought gay 'physical media' porn. I was a member of Randy Blue for about 6 months-and looked at it maybe for the 1st month. I think I also had a short membership to Hot House. Other than that I've made do over the years with with free stuff I can see online. And I don't look at it that often. I guess I've gotten most of my 'porn fix' over the years from the revealing pictures on escort ads.

 

Of actual 'physical media porn'-I think the only magazine I ever bought was one single Playboy. I obviously wasn't really interested in it. But it was Playboy's 1980 'Girls Of The Southwest Conference Issue. 'I was 18 at the time. The only reason I bought it was that I had known one of the girls who posed in it since I was 11. We had been in children's theater together and then were in high school together. She was a very pretty girl. I wasn't attracted to her at all. But seeing her in Playboy always put me in mind of that song 'Angel Is A Centerfold.'

 

 

The only other physical media I think I ever had was a DVD. If I remember correctly it was one of the Trunks series. I had had a weekend with porn star Trey Casteel for my birthday. He was in the film. He inscribed something on the case as a gift for my birthday.

 

Years later I threw the DVD away but kept the inscribed case. After a while I forgot I had kept the case. When I was about to move several years later, I found the case and threw it away. I apparently didn't do a good job at throwing it away. My new job at the time was paying for my move, and I had gotten movers to pack me up. As they were leaving for the day, one of the packers stayed behind as asked to use my bathroom. Now this mover was married (had on a wedding ring) -earlier in the day he had told me how he had just trick-or-treated with his little girl for Halloween. Well he came out of the bathroom holding the DVD case and asked me whether he could have it. I didn't react well-while I'm closeted now-I was much more closeted then. Him having the DVD case just totally shocked me as I thought I had thrown it away before the movers arrived. I told him no he couldn't have it-that it had been given to me as joke. He looked embarrassed too. There we were two closeted guys no knowing how to react to one another.

 

So aside from the Playboy and the DVD, I think that's all the physical media I've ever owned.

When I used to watch porn... mostly in the last century... unless it was an overtly S&M scene I would always hit the fast forward button... and especially during fucking scenes.... BANG BANG BANG BANG. etc. they just seemed to be all the same... and a waste of time... All this was on VHS... and always via rental and never purchased.

 

I have never purchased any on DVD either. However, back in October a friend knowing that I enjoyed the company of Tristan Baldwin gave me a wrestling DVD of his. That is the only porn DVD that I have... and I have never watched the whole thing... The reason: when I mentioned it to TB his response was something like, "Of all the videos that I've done I hate that one the most. Plus, the guy I was wrestling is a total jerk!"

 

Actually, as I mentioned in the porn poll thread: Still after I started hiring I have really watched very little porn. To be able to hook up with someone who is a total pro... regardless if he has or has not appeared in porn... seals the deal for me. In one of the first reviews that I wrote I stated that I felt as though I was in my own personal porno and that I was one of the stars. That says it all for me...

The VHS's were disposed of years ago rather unceremoniously. I had realized at one point that once watched, they became nothing more than dust collectors. When they had consumed the shelving in one of the closets, I sent them packing. I saw little interest in them beyond the first 'slo-mo' run through. Going forward, it just seemed that renting DVD's was better, since they would only be watched once anyway, or well, twice...but only if they were amazing, and only if I was able to resurrect the original fantasy. I do occasionally rent them now, but only when all external conditions are aligned properly, and then only for a day or so until complete boredom sets in. I much prefer the hands on approach, and frequent runs to the local dance clubs seems to be keeping me out of trouble....for now.:D

OK... True confession time here... I still have a compilation VHS tape that I made of my favorite S&M clips from the last century when such porn was a more accurate reflection of how it was practiced by "ordinary folks" . As I have noted elsewhere today's BDSM porn is waaay over the top and especially those hot, fantastic, and fantastic in the "outlandish" sense BoundGods videos.

 

I reserve it for certain "special" occasions when I need to put a smile on my face... ;) :D

 

(And yes, I do have a working VHS player...and a tube TV on which to view things! :p )

I enjoy browsing websites such as Pornhub, MyVidster which I highly recommend, and Xvideos on my iPad. This thread is quiet funny and caught my attention immediately as I've recently "trying" to stay away from porn but I'm a single guy who needs a release often especially after a long day.. lol

Is it the one he did with John Magnum? Tristan's mentioned here, I think, that John was a bit of an ass, and I think mentioned his hygiene needed work.
