I contacted him about 2 weeks ago. He wanted me to send him a picture. I did and I have not heard back from him. Don't know if he is overly selective or what. I am over fifty but in my opinion in better shape and better looking than most.

Thanks. I will pass. I'd rather look for someone that will not judge whether to meet me based on a photo...

I guess I have a bit of a prejudice when I see a porn star advertising as an escort. Being a good porn star and being a good escort are two very different things, IMHO.

I just get the feeling that porn stars are trying to capitalize on the perception that just being with them is worth the price of admission.

I've been asked for a pic three times and provided it once.

 

The first time, an escort who is in his late 40's, in good but not phenomenal shape, requested a pic in his reply to my initial email. I think he said something like "I need a pic." I declined. We didn't meet. No regrets there.

 

The second time was a bodybuilder. We were texting each other w/the exact time and location and he asked if I would mind sending a pic. I declined, he apologized for asking, and we played. We had a very, very good time.

 

The third time was a 20-something guy who had done some porn. As we were finalizing plans, he very politely asked if I could send him a pic so he knew what I looked like. After some discussion, I sent a pic. He told me that I am very handsome and he was looking forward to meeting. We had a really great time. We discussed his request for a pic and he agreed that it could be a turn-off to clients. A few days later he told me he was going to stop asking potential clients if they would provide one.

 

For me, a pic request is less offensive than it is a sign that an escort is completely clueless.

Well oddly enough, I don't mind sending them a pic, if only for the reason I would rather find out in advance if I was someone they might have a good time with or not. I don't want the escort treating it as an endurance test-if he has certain types he is more comfortable with than others, I would prefer to know that in advance. I know it is their job, but they have preferences too. I do understand that it can be a deal breaker for others tho.....

It's ironic to me that he's asking for pics when it's his pic that would cause me not to contact him in the first place even if I lived in SF. I'm sure I'm in the minority again, but I CANNOT STAND tattoos. I don't mind a small one some guys like to place on the back of the neck or around the ankle, but this guy's are over the top! If the tattoos were gone, it's a whole different story for me. Their presence apparently may save me from a request for my pic because I won't be initiating a correspondence in the first place.

I don't like tattoos. But he's handsome enough I maybe could have overlooked them if he were versatile, had a reasonable fee, and didn't want a picture.

I hope the tattoo fad dies out before another whole generation ruins themselves with this obsession with scribbling all over their bodies. For me a small tattoo or two on the arm is OK, though I prefer none at all. It's gotten to where it's pretty hard to find escorts who aren't all inked up. Even if they are beautifully-done tattoos with distinct colors initially they eventually turn bluish and look like some kind of skin disorder. My heart sinks when I see a really built hot guy all tattooed. It's like just the way they are isn't enough and they feel like they have to guild the lily, which in fact is quite the opposite, whatever the word for the opposite of guilding is.

No, but I'm glad for the suggestion, Boomer. I bet Christian is great at bottoming too :). I think I've only really seen him in Bound Gods videos where he's a top. So it will be fun to see him take it for once LOL.

I saw him several years ago and he was pleasant to talk with and a very good top. Id imagine hes even more experienced now. I don't recall him being too full of himself, but he was difficult to schedule and wanted advance notice. He rarely posts his ad so not sure if that means he is looking for more steady clients or down on his luck. Hes been in porn for some time so hes likely near the end of that career

Isn't discretion a big part of the business?

 

The "selection" of his client should be based in something other than looks..
