We know from verified reportage that DB used Jarec for social functions and for procurement of other Sean Cody models for sex. However, the idea that Burns was the actual target of his extortion in this particular case is only supposition due to DB's known association with Jarec. If Jarec and DB were no longer in each other's constant company, it is perhaps a possibility that Jarec's extortion attempt was carried out against someone with a higher profile who might have actually had his career completely destroyed by outing, such as a closeted big-name Hollywood actor. Until the victim is actually named and proven, which will likely not happen, we really have no way of knowing who was the victim in actual fact. JMHO...
