Disappointing to see the proliferation of fake ads these days. I don't get it. Why run a fake ad only to be rejected at meetin time? Is this some variant of sociopathy? Or drug- induced?

Because, in general, they do not get rejected. They throw out the bait, reel in the fish, collect the money and then do not perform. They have been successful. If they were rejected on sight, then yes they might eventually stop.

The OP does not say he rejected the escort, because he was fake. He is warning about him because he did not perform as advertised, which mean he proceeded with the appointment anyway.

The Message Forum archives are full of threads where a poster says the escort or masseur did not look like his pictures, BUT I went along with the appointment anyway.

Daddy sez: We look forward to your review: http://www.daddysreviews.com/submit

It's a common situation.

I just came across this ad on Backpage: http://losangeles.backpage.com/MaleEscorts/sexy-and-handsome-white-guy-26/47670278

Looks almost perfect right? Except the picture belongs to a well known male model who is 110% straight, based in NYC (social media indicates he's been there consistently, never in LA), and would never have a need to escort or massage.

So who is going to show up if you call that Google Voice number and meet?

I cannot review him on daddyreviews unless I know his name, and I cannot call him workedoutstud9c as his name on daddyreviews....

Why can't you put workedoutstud9c in the "name" field? If you can't, simply send an email to daddy and explain you are having trouble with the review submission form.

Google links the picture of "Jack" (who, for those joining this thread in progress, is not the same guy as the title escort "Workedoutstud9c") to this vine of the model getting smacked in the face by his own phone: https://vine.co/v/hz0pdqFjvuD

Maybe the advertiser likes it rough... ;)

That'd be nice if it were true but I'm 95% sure it's not the model. "Jack" has been advertising here for the past month, saying he's 26. The model has been in NYC consistently and is 23. Plus it's unlikely someone that good looking would be on Backpage. And there's an untraceable Google Voice number. Anyone wanna take the plunge?

This is exactly accurate.

Who knows how much money is made via bogus ads!

It will continue and I haven't a clue as to how to fix the problem.

All we can do is one-by-one expose each bogus ad.

Jimmie he would prefer that you submit a review i know that he is using phony pictures and no name and i know you are frustracted by a bad experience. Take a deep breath. Try to put this in the rear... view mirror. Next time, take a bit more care and say no if the man at the door is not the man of your fantasy.

Good advice Purplekow but that is easier said than done. Sometimes they want money just for coming over and it is hard to get into a confrontation. But I will be more assertive next time if it is a negative experience. After all the escort should be honest.

Meeting in a public place is a good idea. Take 15 minutes for a cup of coffee with him. By then you should know wether you want to go on with it or not.
