Well I spent yesterday with a upscale / high end male escort, he was the hit at Thanksgiving dinner!

Showing up in his private jet (fractional), he was replete with Texas cowboy hat and rhinestone ensemble! Think Glen Campbell here fellas: "Like a rhinestone cowboy / Riding out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo / Like a rhinestone cowboy / Getting cards and letters from people I don't even know…"

Adorning his left (non-limp) wrist was the most gorgeous diamond crusted Rolex watch. Breath taking, he said it wasn't on loan from Harry Winston, it had in fact just been taken out of safe storage.

After several two finger cocktails at my families compound, he regaled the family of his First Class travels, stays at 6 Star + resorts, and oh my, the Kenyan safaris. He has a trophy wall in his loft that will soon be portrayed in National Geographic.

No charades were needed last night. He told of his close collaboration with genius and current comic writers. As he describes, they are two of the best humorists out there, "my respect and adulation for their work is sincere". Wow, he landed a dream job working with these two, and kept us in stitches with some upcoming humor. And his labor & delivery skills are top-notch, you want him around for any medical emergency.

The escort and I are both discreet, so I will let you decide who 'he' is, and where my family compound is.

I have no question that of all the escorts that I have met, my Thanksgiving favorite would be Alexio from Rome. He loves social events and fits in perfectly. His sense of humor is infectious. He loves food, cooks great Italian and is interested in everybody else's cuisine. He and his mother have prepared excellent Roman food for me. I think he would love the "eating ceremony" of Thanksgiving. We do all the traditional stuff — at least the stuff that's traditional in our family (think Norman Rockwell meets Little Italy). And, it would be great to get him on this side of the Atlantic.

La!

Your story calls to mind a holiday experience which I still have trouble putting out of my mind some five years later.

The young man involved was not an escort, but rather a lad named Jimmy from the nearby village who had become something of a 'personal assistant' after my careless topple from my sweet but skittish Stonewall earlier in the year.

He and I (Jimmy, not Stonewall) had become close during the months since my fall and, not only did he remain in my home long after the bump went down, but we were also looking forward to spending Thanksgiving by the fire in my cozy country cottage. As Thanksgiving fell on a Saturday that year, we had agreed to wash one another's backs.

Imagine my surprise when a telegram arrived informing me that Grandfather was subdividing the small retreat in Lexington and we were all summoned for a farewell Family Dinner at Peckerwood. There was no avoiding it. I had to go.

In a flash, I decided the only way it would be tolerable would be if Jimmy were to accompany me. He fell in with the plan immediately and began packing all the necessaries and a few extra playthings for our personal amusement.

It wasn't until we were boarding the railcar that I began to consider what the potential harvest of this impulsive act might be. Grandfather, for one, would begrudge any additional withdrawals from the wine cellar and there were sure to be many.

Aunt Flora was bound to be unwelcoming as her gout had continued to worsen and her disposition had never been all that sunny to begin with. And her son, my cousin Myron, would have nothing but the unkindest suspicions about Jimmy's and my companionship. He'd be vocal too.

Just how prescient my worries had been became manifest early on around the dinner table. The usual holiday bickering was in full swing by the soup course and had taken on a rather personal tone by the time the bird appeared.

I looked across the table at Jimmy, to see how he was taking all this and I noticed his chair was empty. Uncle Emmet's adjoining chair was empty too and I suddenly remembered how earnestly they had been talking with one another just five minutes earlier. How odd!, I thought, that they would both have finished their consommé at exactly the same moment and excused themselves together.

It wasn't until we were in our compartment on the train back home, and I noticed the wad of bills sticking out of Jimmy's back pocket, that I realized just what pains Uncle Emmet had taken to make Jimmy feel welcome.

We have not been back since.

Well Aunt Fancy, it has been some time since your unique presence has found its way to this humble locale. It seems you may have taken the young male in question to the rail station, but Uncle Emmet seems to have done the training. No doubt, seeing a young man of humble means, left Uncle Emmet feeling particularly generous. Once Uncle Emmet had assisted Jimmy in the elimination of some the stress in life, Emmet then reimbursed Jimmy for his travel expenses and likely a substantial stipend to insure his continued eduation. Do not be too hard on Uncle Emmet, he no doubt had intentions above reproach and it is likely that now that he has spent some time with Jimmy, both have learned the value an older man might bestow on a young man who is in need of assistance. Jimmy will no doubt be returning to your home and it will be once again time for you to scratch the dirt from each other's back. Becareful however, Jimmy may have learned a few lessons which may be a difficult for a person of your disposition to complete without some degree of body contortion and a few very long deep breaths. That Emmet, he is quite the card. I can recall my own lessons learned at his knee. Well near his knee, and those lessons have gotten me through times which would leave a lesser instructed man, breathless.

Fancy, consider showing your face in these parts a bit more often. Other may try, but your stories, like the dinners at your grandfather's home, leave all satisfied in a surprisingly tasty manner. I also find that it seems that there may be a bit unsaid in your telling, that leads to the mind travelling roads that the devil himself fears to tread.

Guest borger1582

From my hires, and no offense to anyone I've played with, I'm gonna go with Tristan Baldwin . . . as a T Day guest, that is. Pretty sure I could not feed his puppy family adequately, however . . .

Well, if Iiiiiiiiiiiiiii got to bring an escort to Thanksgiving dinner, I'd probably bring Steven Kessler as well. Genuine class that cant be faked, intelligent and articulate. It'd be a helluva lot easier getting my family to accept someone like that, then some of the 'party boy types' that I typically hang with. ;)

Borger- thanks so much..will need your address for next year. Make it as an open invitation for Tristan Baldwin +4-9, as who knows whether Maddy and Nyxie will be with pups again. I'll bring the earplugs. Lol.

I'll also bring the desserts. F'in love Cheesecake and Chocolate Mousse cake. Mmmmph. Need for it to be thanksgivinh again!
