As a client, I've hosted my go to guy a half dozen times or so for 2-3 days each time. We always see a Broadway show where I pick up a mug and a CD of the

musical. We then head out to a nice Steak house for dinner on me. We've dined out for lunch and or dinner as well as eaten in at my place. My young man has

gotten me birthday presents as I have for him. We've exchanged gifts on other occasions.

My point is that all this occurs naturally and no long planning goes into our exchanges. We always seem to pick out things that we each enjoy. I truly agree with

sharing kindness and having an open heart is the greatest gift people share with each other.

I heard you can pick up a six pack there if you ask nicely and he's about to clock off from the storage depot at the back

A friend told me

I'm about ready to try that. How would you suggest approaching that six pack and seeing if he's game?

"my young man", ok he sounds great, you've had him long enough, send him to me :)

The best gift you could ever bring is kindness and an open heart and mind when spending time with your guy. That is worth more than any little thing you could bring....

You're a class act my friend.

SO: What was your solution? What did you bring?

Thanks for asking, Gallahadesquire. I understand he likes animals so I've narrowed it down to two items -- a hello kitty toaster, or a pet guinea pig. It's hard to decide -- taste is so subjective! My date is next week so I'll be sure to let you know which gift makes the final cut. And I sincerely hope you find your cat. They're smart and resourceful and I hope you'll be reunited soon!

actually, he's a frequent flier and you may have been with him already.

Giving a live animal as a pet is a tricky situation. If you know he wants a pet, that is one thing. However, no matter how big an animal lover someone is, pets are a personal decision. Toasters however, are not. Make sure it is a toaster that can handle bagels, escorts may love a tight slot, but not for their bagels.

Pull up your trouser leg and flutter your eyelashes

Boys like that forward approach.

Today I wrote a blog post about an appointment I had on Friday.

It's called The Perfect Overnight and it's all about incall overnight. It's not connected to this post but may be relevant to some. I don't need a gift for an incall overnight, the fact you paid a lot of money ($780) to see me is generosity itself

Please feel free to comment though, your feedback is always appreciated

I read your blog post - impressive! I was particularly impressed with you cooking skills, if you personally put this meal together. I must say, for $780 that is a real BARGAIN. I wish I lived closer to you :) But I am in NYC, that does not commute very well.

SteveEscort, I'm the one who started this thread, but I missed your post until today.

Oh my. Your attention to detail and generosity merits at least 4x the rate you charge, or an extraordinarily generous gift. And I think it's pretty special that you don't expect either. Since you probably won't agree to marry me, sight unseen, I will need to find my way to a city closer to you, or find a way to get you closer to me. Merry Christmas, sir.

"Manner" and "etiquette" are not one in the same, and, thereby, oft confused.

That is absolutely correct. Not to change the subject, but one of the most complicated things I had to do, from the perspective of proper etiquette, was to meet the mother of an escort. Actually, that has happened 3 times (3 different escorts). Tricky.

Why is SteveEscort on a time-out? He strikes me as such a polite, considerate person ... I miss his posts.

Public bickering with another forum member, I think, but I don't pay much attention to those spats.
