docjim, I hate to disappoint, but there is no longer a male strip club in Las Vegas. Share Nightclub used to have their own strippers, complete with an upstairs area for semiprivate (not completely closed off) dances, but they seem to have abandoned that part of the business. Then for a while they rented out the space to Adonis Las Vegas until the new general manager recently kicked Adonis out. Xavier, head of Adonis LV, has been scrambling to find a new space, both for regular Adonis as well as the famous nude parties, but contrary to all the hype about Las Vegas as Sin City, the city council and local police are remarkably strict about strippers and lap dances, especially when alcohol is involved. Some of the local bars/clubs have occasional nights of go-go boys, but that's probably not what you're looking for. I know, who woulda guessed that Sin City could be so lame??

I wish I could be more helpful, but I haven't been to a Las Vegas gay bar or club in years. I think Piranha still has go-go boys, but not sure. Hopefully someone else on the board has more current information.

This is disappointing. Never been to vegas and it is on my bucket list... very low, but nonetheless.

What became of the Sapphire club's male strippers? Were they a women only troupe? Rico is ultimate perfection from the photos.

I don't have any first-hand knowledge, but according to their website, it looks like it's still going on. A few years back, I met a guy who danced at Sapphire's & asked him what the deal was. He said that men are welcome to attend, but they usually sit in the back, not because of discriminatory seating like the 1950s but because all the seating in front is reserved for pricey bottle service, something only bachelorette parties pay for, not gay men who usually come alone. He also said that only a few of the dancers give lap dances to guys. Like I said, this information is a few years out of date.

For years its been the "in" gay club

By “in”...he means “only”.

It’s fun, and packed Fri/Sat nights, but it’s a typical medium size town

gay bar. Everyone knows everyone. A few nice strippers, but nothing

spectacular when I’ve been there.

You don't go to Vegas for the gay life.

Amen. I usually go with straight friends and hang out with them. It’s

a fun, but not particularly “gay”, town.

If you must hire I’d suggest doing tons of research first and only hiring

well known and well reviewed men. The fake/flake/hustler to real/fun/hot

ratio is incredibly high and you will get burned....a lot.

If you’ve got the time and money, your best bet is to import men from the

West coast. Most of them love coming to Vegas and it’s a short fligh.

There are at least a dozen gay bars in Las Vegas but yes, the others, like the Garage, Badlands, etc are all pretty much what you'd find in any mid-size city.

I've never seen another club quite like Piranha anywhere though and I've been to most.

A dozen dive bars. The Garage is probably the most cleaned up of the lot. I'm a fan of their food window at the back.

Piranha unique? I mean, it's got a fish tank. It's not one of my favorite places as their air system doesn't move heat or cigarette smoke all that well.

It's the only place I know of that not only has a lot of male strippers but female too.

Only place I've been that has hundreds, maybe a thousand, people inside and out until 7am.

On weekends I've seen several A-grade porn stars and quiet a few Hollywood types.

The music is much better than most places and the atmosphere is relaxed almost chill.

I guess everyone has different impressions of places but everyone I've taken to Vegas has really liked Piranha.

In its heyday, Gypsy was a lot of fun. That's been closed for a number of years.

Krave, when it first opened on the strip, was great. Huge space. Good staff. Great light/sound. As they began to struggle to get people in the door, they catered more and more to the straight Vegas crowd and with that came fights, asshole bouncers and $25 drinks.

I remember going there for the inaugural Hustlaball. Wild, fun night.

What's a 'food window'?
