Four and one/half months ago, the place was as good as it usually is.

The only thing that I find odd or unpleasant is the unpredictability of when the place will be busy with escorts.

Thanks for this tip.  I never went to the dry sauna on my visits, spending most of my time at the bar and nearby hot tub.  I enjoyed the parade of boys as they came to and from the bar too relax, but they all kept their towels on en route.  I'll remember the dry sauna for next time.

Ok. This is my report for July 14.

Thank you for reporting back and the detailed account! I'm glad that you went even though you were nervous.

For the kissing, I now always ask them to show me how they kiss before I commit to having a session with them. The good kissers, I've found, will happily oblige, confident in their skills. It's certainly forward, but good kissing is extremely important to me. 

I remember Achmed well! I met him a few times in the sauna. I'd never go during Gay Pride week if you were interested in visiting Thermas. Especially, if you're not into PNP.

Last year, several men were on the sidewalk with drug overdosing and being attended to by paramedics during that final weekend when I tried to visit. Maybe this weekend for Pride will be different but I'd never travel there if I was most interested in hiring escorts and not attending a parade.

On the subject of the weather I looked at the temperature charts for Barcelona for the next 10 days. On only one day is the forecast for over 30 degrees (31) and the other days mid to high 20’s. So much for the European heat wave.

Well we just had a bad heatwave a few weeks ago. And last week was very hot too, next week is indeed supposed to cool off a bit. Thankfully so.

There are rooms you can use for free or you can hire a room in various price ranges  with a proper bed and in some cases free drinks. I strongly suggest you rent a room. It greatly improves the experience. After you have made an arrangement with your escort you go to the front desk and they will give the key to a room and you pay on the way out. Hope this helps.

Thanks for this.  I visited Sauna Thermas twice last year, and I didn't know about renting rooms.  I just spent my time in the sauna, spa, and at the bar.  When I met a boy I wanted to hire, he brought me to an available small room and we had our 30 minutes of fun for 50 Euros.  It was the same for every boy I hired, about 5 boys over 2 visits. 

 When I visit next year, I'll be sure to ask what the room options are and if any include drinks as you suggest.  But, I'll be satisfied even if I don't get a room and have the same experience as my last visits.

Not sure the room adds much but they tend to be better lit and bigger. I think for most one-on-one's, going to the usual rooms is ok for most. If doing a threesome, you definitely want more space.

would that be the same Akmed that was there in 2016 (during my one and only visit to BCN)?......he spoke great English and said he'd lived in the US for some time.....he "held my hand" during this first visit for me and chatted a good while....eventually, I asked him to pick out a dude for him to put on a show with and all went fantastic......great place!
