Hello gents!

In a few days, I will be meeting someone new. He says that he's tried every "XXL, magnum, etc." condom out there, but they're all too narrow. He prefers the female condoms, which is fine with me; some of my partners have used those with me before.

So here's my question: Is this guy full of it? Can someone actually be too big for a "super-sized" male condom?

I've been with guys who have an average endowment who prefer the XXL condoms because they are not as snug. It is possible that they would fit, but he doesn't like the way they fit. However, to answer your question, I think he is full of it. It could be a way to get you to consent to having bareback sex.

I have only met one man who truly had a hard time (no pun intended) in utilizing a XXL or magnum sized condom. He got his very large ones from a company that makes custom condoms, and they actually have you measure length and girth while fully erect and send in to them and then they make them. He shared the company website with me, but I have long since deleted it from my address book since I don't need to have mine custom made... I am sure if you search the internet you should be able to find this company if it still exists and still makes this product.

As long as the condom stays on. The looser the condom the more pleasure for the top though. If the condom is too tight there's not going to be any sliding in and out and thus no pleasure.

Short answer: yes-maybe-it depends. :-) You have to remember that there is no uniform size for erect penises, which obviously vary in length, but also in girth/circumference, which also varies along the shaft. Condoms tend to be tightest at the base when rolled down, and some guys are really wide at the base. Sometimes the pubic hairs get caught in the bunch-up at the base, and it can mimic a feeling of "tightness" and be quite uncomfortable, if not painful. Condoms are also usually designed to be of uniform cylindrical length, but I've seen guys whose erect penises have huge bulges or are much wider at different points along the shaft, who complain of tightness there, and I can see the condom stretched and "straining" at that point like a big girl in spandex.

If your guy has some of these issues, then he's likely being truthful, and is "full of it" only in a *good* way. If that's the case, I recommend you prep well (do lots of kegels, use butt plugs and dildos, deep breathing exercises), and a little prayer might not hurt either. ;-).

P.S. Then you've also go to send me this guy's info in a private message! ;-)

I think it boils down to personal comfort, but if the guy has decided "in his head" that every condom on planet Earth is waaaay too small for his gigantic cock, you can do nothing to change his mind.

For the record, even someone super well-endowed like CutlerX is able to wrap it up with a Magnum XL.

If you feel that someone is pushing you to bareback, don't hesitate to show them the door.

I find that guys who are super huge 'down there' have a hard time getting it UP. I had a friend named Bam-Bam who lived in Harlem, NY. He could get his thing semi-hard, but never fully erect. I thought for a while that maybe I wasn't exciting enough for him, until I saw him in a porn movie - same problem. All I'm saying is: you may be in for a disappointing performance if you intend to bottom for this dude.

My worst problem, since the widest part of my shaft is at the base, is that condom can't cover the lower half of the shaft; thus I am left with this strangulating, painful ring of rubber at midshaft, that enhances the likelihood of the whole damned condom slipping off during fucking.

I rarely can cum with a condom. I am not a fan of condoms, having tried all sizes and materials.

Baron- I'm not sure if you knew, but esteemed Forum Member Tyro is a lady. So while of course I don't know absolutely, but she is probably planning to have some variety of heteronormative sex. So my question is, "In terms of heteronormative sex, is it correct to describe the woman partner as a bottom?"

In terms of heteronormative sex, I'm not sure if describing the woman as a bottom is the correct term.

I cannot speak for Tyro of course, but I think women generally speaking are always bottoms unless if they use a strap-on dildo, as someone suggested earlier. I have lesbian friends - they tell me that strap on dildos are hard to use. First of all, it is hard work that they are not used to. And more importantly, they seem to slide off all the time. If a woman inserted a dildo in a guy, with the use of a strap on, or simply manually even, would that make her a 'top'?

Well, the woman doesn't feel anything, right? So, I'm not sure what the the point of using a strap on is for a heterosexual couple, unless the guy really wants to be penetrated.

I knew a female escort who liked to use this kind of device to fuck me:

The short end obviously goes into the female wearer, giving her at least some sensation, as well as a bit more control than with the flat-end kind, which as noted above tends to slip out of position all the time. She enjoyed the dominance, as did I.

One of the few female providers I've known btw who also really enjoyed being a watersport top with me. Her peeing on me while I was in her was something she also introduced me to. Very pleasurable, for both of us apparently.

Heteronormative doesn't mean what you think it does. The word you're looking for is heterosexual.

Strap-on use or dildo-wielding would make her a top. That's one of the reasons why pegging exists.

I can't speak to how hard they are to use -- I've never used one -- but I know someone who either uses a strap-on or dildo on or engages in woman-on-top sex with her husband. She considers herself bisexual and genderqueer (I suspect if they hadn't met, she would be a trans man by now) while he's a heterosexual beta male/sissy boy-type.

No, the woman using a strap-on can feel something. Many strap-on harnesses are designed to provide stimulation for the wearer, even those whose design is different from that shown in Adam_Smith's post above. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strap-on_dildo See also this instructional video from Smitten Kitten. https://www.smittenkittenonline.com/women/strap-on-harnesses/harness-kits.html

Actual body parts appeal to me more than manmade substitutes and despite Freud I'm not traumatized by not having a penis. But the idea of occasional role reversal has its appeal, especially once I saw the Smitten Kitten video. I've also seen one of the dommes from kink.com's Men in Pain series use a strap-on to coax a prostate orgasm out of (straight) porn actor Danny Wylde.

I had a young man who worked for me in New Orleans when my ex and i ran a service there. His audition blew my mind. I always used to use a cloth tape and get accurate soft and hard stats so i can accurately advertise them to potential clients. I have never been a fan of exxagerating penis size or of porn inches. I think that is bullshit. Anyway soft it was 6 by 5 and erect it was a TRUE 10 by 7!!!!!! Almost every time he had an appointment for me he would bum several of my magnum xl condoms whis he said fit him just fine. SO.....unless this guy if thicker than 7 in circumference which i have never seen in person then the xls should fit fine. For me I find all normal size condoms way too tight for my dick and they dont roll out anywhere near my base whereas the xls fit perfectly on me width wise and they roll out close enough to the base to be ok ...they could be a little longer but they work. http://www.rentmen.com/mikeyusatop (new videos!!!)
