Just a quick note of gratitude to all those who've helped Daddy make this forum what it is...

 

I'm a long-time lurker and sometime poster here, which has all been quite a lot of fun, as I've entertained the fantasy of hiring for my entire adult life. And this site definitely gives fantasy fodder.

 

That said, I write tonight because I'm fresh & happily home from my first experience actually hiring. And, well, the experience was everything I had hoped it would be. (I'll save the -- ahem -- particulars for the review I plan to submit in the coming days.) Though the guy I met up with certainly did his part to put me at ease, I must say that the collective wisdom of the forum posters, the reviewers, and the site itself made all the difference in my feeling confident and comfortable as I took the plunge.
