If real (and as we see from these threads so many of these ads aren't) I would hire him. I would simply opt to go the overnight route instead for $150 more. I would also thank him for at least posting rates in his ad instead of wasting my time with "ask" "call" "depends" etc.

Escort's In Rate $350 USD

Escort's Out Rate $450 USD

Escort's Overnight Rate $500 USD

His fee schedule is a mess. Boston, aint cheap, I know I used to live there. However, what he's posting doesn't make any sense unless he's only interested in overnights, and then he is cheap. I too would at this point take a pass. Sigh :(

I suspect that doesn't mean what you think it means. I seriously doubt he would give you an overnight appointment (or even a multiple hour appointment) for a flat rate of $500. Some newer escorts don't seem to understand than "weekend" and "overnight" means extended periods, they seem to think it means a premium hourly rate.

But definitely, if that was a legit overnight rate, I'd take the plunge but send him on his way after three or four hours.

Here's a good looking kid with sizable endowment:

But $350 an hour in / $450 out? I think he's a pass.

Opinions?

I would ask about the $350 hourly vs $500 overnight rate. Maybe he charges a flat fee per session and that session can last up to 2 or three hours?

I bit the bullet. I asked.

Response: "Its flat rate and covers the entire visit so in actuality its alot cheaper than the other guys, I need to clarify that in my ad"

Sigh. I googled his images, which are "Scattered like dust and leaves, when the mighty blasts of October Seize them, and whirl them aloft, and sprinkle them far o'er the ocean." - prelude to Evangeline, by Longfellow.

Also, his selfies are from two different bathrooms, and I don't understand the significant change in the hair.

A pass. Unfortunate, too. And notice [above] that his response was exactly that above, and no more. No "What are you looking for?" or any other acknowledgement of interest.

Although this ad has been removed, beware in the future. I contacted this ad prior to investigating the pictures or seeing this post. I paid a deposit on an out of town trip and he seemed very engaging and the pictures were hot. After seeing this post and investigating the pictures, I asked him to explain the pictures being on multiple blogs that were more than a year old. He told me that they were his pictures but refused to send additional pictures and told me that me felt like he was walking into a "trap" and no longer wanted to take the trip. He followed up once more and said that he was just waiting on a deposit to clear before he could refund my deposit. He now doesn't answer emails and his ad disappeared. I suppose I learned my lesson the hard way. Do your homework!

And NEVER NEVER NEVER advance a deposit or fee to someone you have never met before. This happens far too often. So many of us are embarrassed to talk about it or admit it so it doesn't get reported and there are no good mechanisms to warn others about it.

Even if you do your "homework" or think you did, you can still get stung on these ads.

This week, I did a Google search and a phone number search on a ad but nothing negative showed at the time I did the searches.

I then talked with the "escort" (con artist) on the phone. He was pleasant, in fact he was so charming, I suspect that he could charm a bird right out of a tree.

Seeing nothing negative from searches and talking with him on the phone, I did not suspect anything with his insistence to come directly to my hotel room. That was my stupidity and mistake. To make a long story short, the guy was a total fraud and not the person in the photos.

Homework or no homework - reviews or no reviews - luck has a lot to do with the situation.

Do homework. Meet in a public place. Never pay upfront. That does not require luck. It does require diligence and attention to detail.

Just like just about every other client, i have been had and not in the good way. I did research, I met him in a public place. I did not pay up front. But I did not heed the warnings he was giving when he drank a bit too much, a bit too fast and I went back to room with a drunk guy who was bigger and stronger and younger than I and I wound up paying him more that I intended and got less than I intended just to get him out.

Biggest rule of hiring, pay attention to what you are doing and with whom.

"pay attention to what you are doing and with whom."

Great advice. However, you did not follow this based on what you wrote. At the same time, I did not use good judgment allowing the fraudster to come directly to my hotel room.

In the final analysis, how do we know if we did a sufficient amount of "homework" on a particular escort?

Although I made a foolish decision in allowing the escort to come directly to the room, luck was still present because I was able to extricate myself from the situation unscathed (luckily).

You are correct, I did not follow my own advice, as I was very new to hiring and inexperienced in the ways of the world. As I stated, I was had and not in a good way. Be careful out there.
