RB's cams are provided by Flirt4Free, as are Rentmen's. Not sure if there would be a price difference between them but they're using the same source of models.

It's not you. The site is designed to confuse you. Dollars buy you credits, and different classes of shows for different performers consume credits at different rates per minute. By the time you're done you're not really thinking in dollars per minute. The costs of credits are not visible until you join:

I've been looking at F4F's stuff for a bit more than a year and then I also joined RB's cams a few months ago when some of my favorite F4F models migrated over to RB.....now trying to ween myself off the whole damn thing because it does add up in $$...."sales" occur, but they aren't impressive....F4F is by far the biggest of these and actually runs a pretty efficient operation, albeit with the goal of getting you to spend money....RB seems barebones compared to F4F....

 

models can charge various credit prices based on experience and productivity, apparently...

 

you can join for free, but you rapidly realize the lack of benefits for doing that....models vary widely in interaction, friendliness, experience, and native language.....

I was on it through Rentmen for a day or two. I found it can cost you a lot of money very quickly, and it really just made me horny for being with someone which wasn't going to happen. So ultimately depressing at the end of the day. If you have the money, unless you are extremely shy with meeting people, I'd hire an escort or at the very least someone who perfoms sensual/erotic massage.

very true....the per-hour rate for a "private" at F4F or RB cams ends up being much higher (!) than the average cost of a real in-person hour meet with a very well-reviewed escort!...

You provide an interesting perspective as someone who has been on cam. Interestingly, HooBoy himself was a fan of F4F for exactly the reasons you cite. When he found himself unplanned in a strange city, stuck in a hotel with time to kill (but not ENOUGH time to hire someone), he found the cams could provide some entertainment when his only other option was staring at the wall. And I've used them that way myself.

 

It's pricey but it can be more enjoyable than jerking off alone. That's kind of a sad thing to say, but when you travel on business -- or live in the middle of nowhere -- it's all too often true!
