After some long summer travels, I've determined the the Big Apple is the best! Consider the following:

 

-The Gaiety: This is the finest male strip bar I've seen world wide, with world class twinks - minks - muscle marys showning their stuff. All are accessible for a off-premise private after meeting with them in the lounge which provides a unhurried, non-pushy enviroment. Any flakes or frauds at the 'G' don't last.

 

-The People: Anytime I've asked for advice on the street, the locals go out of their way to help - even New Yorks Finest. They are tough folks having survived the unimaginable 2 years ago - and still have the 'bestest' of hearts.

 

-Fellow HooVillians: Look at the cast of characters that post here from NYC,

Glutes, you're entitled to your opinion but IMHO Montreal's stripper bars outshine New York's Gaiety by a longshot. Not only do they serve up, on a daily basis, the hottest guys catering to all tastes, they also provide a much more comfortable setting for enjoying the boys.

 

Consider: whereas Gaiety offers some dozen or so dancers a day, in Montreal the largest clubs like Campus offer twice that much and taken together, all five stripper bars offer 100 or more dancers on a daily basis, generally from 3pm to 3 am.

 

Two, the dancers can be enjoyed sitting at your tables, sharing a drink, while you watch the show. At the Gaiety, you are forced to sit in a drab, theatre-like setting which reminds me of the peep shows of old.

 

Three, privates can be held on premises, and with the new rules, can include oral sex without having to leave the bar. What convenience!

 

Four, no cover charge, and a cheaper Canadian dollar (although appreciating) make the boys a bargain compared to what is on offer in NYC, although quite a few at the Gaiety are Montreal dancers who do stints down there to earn the more valuable American bucks.

 

As for the rest of your message, I agree New Yorkers are quite courteous and it always surprises me given the image New York has of being an aggressive, in your face kind of place. And they did rise to the challenge of 9/11 in a magnificent way. But give me the Montreal stipper bars any day:7

I don't live in NYC any more...and, damn, I miss the place. I get back there twice a year which only makes me more homesick. My dream is live walking distance to Stella's and spend days and days there.

Where have you been Jim? Long time, no post. Remember what I said about hairy white guys? Well, Johnny, currently dancing at the Gaiety, could make me forget all of that!

I think I missed you by one week. I was in NYC the first and last weekends of September. I had a great time. Got to meet Lucky and several other posters including Jaynnj. Cooper was the perfect NYC host and ambassador of the Gaiety. I also got to see my two favorite Gaiety dancers perform last weekend of September.
