Escorts on Rentmen Contacting You for Engagements

Just this morning, I browsed the Detroit listings and saw a new guy, clicked on his ad, was disappointed to see he'd only be in town while I was out of town next week. A few hours later I got a RentMen email from him saying he'd be in Detroit next week and if I wanted to book a session please answer a few questions he provided (when, where, what type of session type questions). It was so obviously a canned reply that it put me off a bit.

There was one Rentmen provider who sent me emails multiple-times-a-day looking for an appointment after I merely viewed his ad/profile ONE time. Really bothersome.

 

I'm a paid/premium member and after that I went to Privacy Settings and changed Allow members to see if I have checked them out: to No - Don't Track Me.

No further issues.

For some strange reason I believe the escorts can still see that I have clicked on their profile even when my setting is set to NO - Don't Track Me. It could be coincidence, but I have had random escorts look at my profile after I have checked them out. I even had one block me which I felt was his loss cause I was considering hiring him. I just kinda thought that setting didn't apply to an escort profile and only worked on other premium members.

Unfortunately, no. We’re not in the same city. He obviously saw I browsed his page, but under the security settings I have and not being logged in to the site, he apparently was able to see I browsed.

I thank all of you men who responded to this post. It gave me another perspective. I like www.rentmen.com, but I DO NOT LIKE the "Reviews" sector in its entirety, for I like to read text which the webmaster no longer posts. I have continued to review the guys that I've seen, but I have decided NOT to write any text about my experience and have relayed my reasons to the webmaster who's based in Amsterdam.

For a long time I grumbled about not seeing the text for the reviews. I always skimmed over all the talk about using proxies, because it seemed so much more work. But once I tried it, it was pretty easy, and nice to see the text comments. Especially for those who give high stars but a bad phrase to one of the questions. Now I find I open up Hide.ME all the time. Then just click on "Free Proxy" along the top, on the next page there is a box at the bottom where you can copy the Rentmen.com address into. It continues to function even as you clicked through links on the site, for the most part. That was a nice surprise too.

 

PS: I used this feature not logged in. I rarely log in unless I want someone to know I am there, just because I like to browse in advance - often.
