Seriously.....he's playing the victim here when it's pretty clear he at least WAS a sex worker. You don't get five reviews on Daddy's for working the drive-thru at Wendys'. To play devil's advocate... maybe at the time he wrote it, he was in a situation that he saw no other recourse, but to try to hide the fact he escorted. Honestly, I'm not going to go into details and the whys of Angel's choice. I do know he was/is dealing with something major that may have caused him to do what he did, i.e. request the reviews to be removed. I do know of another escort who did something similar, but that particular escort retired completely from escorting and didn't want any evidence of his old life to affect his new one.

What is somewhat interesting is that the most recent reviewer (JJSmith51) on Daddy’s reviews (to which Angel apparently responded with the removal request) states himself that “I will not share more Infos (sic) as I might get in trouble with him…” If you check out review #1 dated 5/25/2012, the reviewer. Caddy, asks Daddy to remove his review since he was just advised by Angel that Angel did not want ANY reviews. Perhaps Angel should make it very clear to his apparently very satisfied clients that he does not want them to submit a review to Daddy’s site. Ever! Maybe Angel is also somewhat fearful of legal repercussions since his RB ad is so very adamant about his being hired for time and companionship only!

Angel's dispute with Daddy

 

I don't mean to step into Daddy's shoes or moderator shoes, but first I do believe once a review has been posted, only Daddy has the option to remove the review and usually it will be with a polite request from the gentleman.

 

Actually someone who I reviewed in the past and talked about on the forum had to curtail his activities quickly and I respected that decision immediately. I believe he then requested daddy to remove the reviews and his ad then disappeared. It would not shock me if it was exactly the type of situation that newtothis described but in that case the ad and all remnants disappeared.

 

I would think if it is a situation that Adriano or newtothis described why would the ad not disappear too. Just stick to muscle worship sites, why have the ad on rentboy. Or is this more the situation that in a couple of the reviews he is described and versatile anally. I have heard of situations where that was the issue and the gentleman did not want that to get out. The link in the review does not work, change your phone # and change your name, this is good reason why you don't show face pics either.

 

I just think there is a bit more to this story than is being stated by Angel because, I have almost always found Daddy to lean towards honoring the gentleman's requests with just a simple please and thank you and short reason. I've updated the message from Angel Diablo to indicate that it was received on 10/24/12. BTW: Reviews are not ads; It's an important distinction.

 

Simply deleting a page does not have the effect intended. Search engines will update pages that change which is why my first step is to remove the photo and the contact information. "Deleted" pages can remain in the search engine caches for years. After a few months, I'm usually open to revisiting the issue but as pointed out, I make the decisions on a case by case basis.

 

The FAQ is very clear that on the matter:

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with this thought process. If someone is putting themselves out on the internet advertising themselves, they have already exposed themselves to the risk of being outed.

 

Secondly, if every client asked permission to post a review before doing so, we would never have a true picture of half the service providers out there. It annoys me when I am interested in someone only to find out that there are no reviews even though they have been in business for years. And many times when inquiring in the forum, members say will relay an experience but didn't bother to post a review. So we want to have a review site, but we don't want to do reviews??? Or we want to ask permission first? If you got mediocre service from your plumber would you ask his permission before reviewing him on yelp or google?

Understand where you're coming from, but sometimes a bit of humanity is in order. If you saw someone and found out that he was being investigated for deportation would you still post? What about if they had partnered with someone or gotten a new job and were trying to erase a part of their past and begged you not to post? If someone had robbed you or done something really bad reviews are a great source of information. But sometimes compassion is important. And no, simply not posting isn't going to make someone's past go away, the internet takes care of that, but it's just a sign of kindness. After all, this is hardly consumers report.

What we're doing here is not legitimate, let's be real, and yeah google cache still exists, but damn you guys really need to be able to cut escort's a break if they don't want several paragraphs dedicated to them and their services and have their picture attached to it. Discretion goes both ways gentleman for both the escort and client, and for you guys to jump in on this escort with good reviews who asked to have his stuff taken down (even when he asked harshly) and then leave his stuff on this website - it's extremely hypocritical. Shit like this hinders the working guys from trusting clients even further, and really brings down the name of this website if escorts can't get their information removed from here. We're breaking one of the major rules of this game - discretion - and the fact that we're not holding up our end of the bargain even if the escort was being a jerk in his request - it's not right.

 

Between this and the Simon Dexter thread evaluating his personal lifestyle and other threads similar to this - sorry guys, but this entire forum needs to re-evaluate themselves because we're starting to become the crazy clients.
