I watch the DIY network and the Bacon Bowl commercial plays every hour or so. I sit slack jawed each time. My favorite is when they speak of egg whites in a bacon bowl as a perfect healthy breakfast.

The baked bean bacon bowl is a treat for all five sense It looks good. It smell good. The sound of its name is lyrical. It no doubt tastes good and my guess is that it probably is a treat for the sense of touch as well. Ah America, the land of the free and the home of the bacon bowl.

The thing that amuses me most about this is that I started seeing this commercial for the first time ON CHRISTMAS DAY. In other words, this special offer mail-order item missed the holiday shopping season entirely.
