Specifically I'm looking for some in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens. But does anyone know of any? Currently, I only know of El Rancho Motel in The Bronx and Motor Inn in Brooklyn. In a city like this, you'd think more would exist.

Not hourly, and not in your locations, so not really on point. But if useful to anyone here, a fairly cheap place in Chinatown: http://www.uspacifichotelnyc.com/

For $68/night + refundable $20 deposit for key & TV-remote, you get a room with double bed and desk/chair, with shared baths down the hall. And unlike a lot of shared-bath hotels/hostels, the whole place is kept quite clean -- rooms, baths, hallways, linens & towels.

Here are a few I found online.

Kew Motor Inn has the top rating for hourly hotels on Yelp.

This site has a large number of hourly hotels listed. As always, you will want to check reviews or maybe drive by.

Disclaimer: I have no personal experience at any of the hotels listed. But I've found that online reviews tend to be pretty accurate, especially if there are a lot of reviews for a given hotel.

There is something to be said for a quick romp at a totally skanky place ... Junior Stellano was a big fan of that, he loved meeting at a hotel on W 27th (the Senton, now defunct) that was absolutely unbelievable: blood stains on the mattress, sticky floors, needles on the bath room floor. Quite the 'scene'.

Here is a link that was mentioned in another discussion on this very website, I hope you find it informative:

The East Side Club looks abandoned all the time. I've gone to the West Side Club about a dozen times over the last 5 or 6 years and it's always interesting. I always somewhat regret going after I spend nights there, but I can't say it isn't thrilling.

Plus, the entire forum has been slow this week.

It's summertime in the Northern Hemisphere; ...think this might be the reason why the entire website has been relatively moderate during the months of June, July, August. I have been at home most of this time and have come here almost daily. Guess I'm addicted, but at any rate, I agree with your take on this! 8.17.13
