Whilst not specifically pictured here, one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen in the world is Lake Louise in Alberta Canada. Great place for a romantic vacation. Also, the ski resort of Portillo nestled in the Andes between Chile and Argentina is quite spectacular........as is the drive to get there from Santiago. Great collection of places on the video. Thanks Steven!

Thanks Steven for sharing.. great video... I have been very fortunate to see many of those places featured... and I would echo EZE's comments about Lake Louise... one of the most beautiful places in the world... IMHO... and the Grand Canyon, the Volcano's in Hawaii and the Grand Canyon of the Pacific on the island of Kauai... also spectacular.

Another vote for Lake Louise. The view of the lake from the chateau bar, drink in hand, as the harpist plays something wonderful - ah bliss, "Oh Bliss, pour me another."

Then too the view of Florence from across the river; don't leave out that spectacularly beautify bridge over the Seine in Paris.

Although many of these places are beautiful, I'm not sure they would be worth the money and energy necessary to get there just to see them--I might be just as happy to view the photos.

I, too, would add Lake Louise to my favorite places, as well as Mt. Shasta in northern California, many places along the Oregon and California coasts north of San Francisco, Cradle Mountain National Park in Tasmania, dawn on the Ganges at Varanasi, the Plitvice Lakes in Croatia, Zabriskie Point in Death Valley at sunrise, Crater Lake, the casbah in Marrakech, Master's Tournament week at Augusta--oh, well, I don't know where to stop.

I am a city person. While I have visited a few of the places in the video, I have little interest in seeing any more. But, there are many cities I have not visited yet. So I too am just as happy to view Draker's video, and spend my money & energy elsewhere.

I've got to agree, Banff/Lake Louis is the most beautiful (and romantic) location I've ever visited in North America. Steven, I thoroughly enjoyed viewing the video. Thanks for sharing it with us.

While in Maui, hiking down into Haleakala volcanic crater at sunrise is pretty interesting. You descend through the clouds in the dark, see a surreal sunrise, then if you continue eleven miles or so, you walk through combinations of stark desert to lush prairies till your ascent. The ascent is a a place with less climb than the descent so it is not bad coming up. Beautiful experience and good way to beat the crowds in Maui. Didn't see anyone for several hours. Could have been naked. Hmm, any escorts out there interested?

Giving a little more thought to this from my own experiences, I would also include the gorges on the Yangzte River in China - more spectacular than the fjords of Norway.

Then too, if you park the OP in just about any picture, it makes the place worth visiting.:o
